"Cult Classic Not Best Seller", 9 May 2012
I loved this book. Simple as that, am i a huge "Streets" fan, Yes. Mike skinner has proven himself once again to be entertaining and original. Staying with his usual "control freak" attitude he has done, what i do think might have caused him some pain, from certain elements of his vicinity, produced this book himself. It explains the streets, why, where but not so much how. Why is always the biggest question though and he does answer this to extreme perfection. Why he rapped like he did to why he stopped when he did. Its the streets biography mixed with a bit about its creator. If i had one complaint it would be that the author never talked much about the creation musically about the streets, about the programs he used and how on earth he got that beautiful but simple creation "Turn the Page". But i think he did this on purpose, genius!!!
