4.0 out of 5 stars Good so far., 19 May 2016
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This is a cheap replacement toner cartridge, it's about half the price that the local shop charges.
The good thing about Brother is that the cartridge's aren't chipped, so you can use third party toner and refill fairly easily.
As to the rest, as long as it fits and produced clear copies and lasts OK, then there's not much else for a toner cartridge to do.
So far the copies are good, but I'll comment later on how it lasts.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice playset, easy assembly, 6 May 2016
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
My daughter loved this, got it straight out of the box and assembled it the same evening, with a little help from the grown ups without looking at the instructions. It's a nice playset for any pony mad children.

4.0 out of 5 stars Decent pocket, slightly larger than A4, 26 April 2016

See through pockets, good button but slightly bigger than A4, so many not fit in tight bags. drawers.
Make sure there's nothing confidential on top.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent stapler, good action, easy to use., 26 April 2016
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Neat stapler. once you work out that the coloured but at the back pings out the stapler drawer, it's easy to use and the action is quite statisying.
As long as the trim doesn't wear it's ll be an excellent stapler

5.0 out of 5 stars Cute toy, bit larger than I was expecting, 26 April 2016
This review is from: TOMY Paddling Puppy (Toy)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This is a nice bath toy, my daughter has perhaps been deprived of these things compared to her elder brother.
The surprise is that it's about 6" long, I was expecting a much smaller toy, the winder on the bottom is large and easy to grip and it's got a nice action.
Cute toy.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not for the new parent, interesting well written read otherwise, 18 April 2016
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This is an easy read and has some interesting information in it, however it's probably not of much use to its key audience - brand new parents who are stressed and exhausted. It seems more like a book that grandparents might enjoy.
It starts with pregnancy works through birth and onto childhood and the teens, and there are some interesting facts - what kids eat in France and how, rural Chinese potty habits etc.
So I enjoyed it, but not sure how practical it is, book's conclusion doesn't really advise anything.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun case, robust, my daughter loves it., 12 April 2016
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This is a neat idea, child's case that let's kids ride on it.
The case is hard covered, and gives a fair amount of storage, it's robust as my daughter's been using it in the garden.
The only downside might be id the horns get knocked off by over enthusiastic baggage handlers,

Beginning ASP.NET for Visual Studio 2015: Web Forms and MVC
Beginning ASP.NET for Visual Studio 2015: Web Forms and MVC
by William Penberthy
Edition: Paperback
Price: £20.39

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent beginners guide, ebook/ print bundles would be appreciated, 12 April 2016
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
I've used these books before - I learned all my SQL Server and Visual Basic from Wrox books and felt quite nostalgic when I receive this.
I've got a current project that needs ASP.Net and have been working through the book to update my clsssic ASP and convert my PHP skills to ASP.Net. This book is very good, it gives both web forms and the newer MVC style of creating web pages, the text is clear, all the code is online and the IDE is downloadable for free from Microsoft (in the community form). Later in the book is gives introductions to JQuery and AJAX, I'm already up to speed on these , but this is a beginners' book and these chapters will be useful.
Excellent book, only drawback is that Wrox (now owned by Wiley) don't do bundled ebook/ print editions, combined price for both print and ebook is excessive.

Computational Physics: Problem Solving with Python (No Longer Used)
Computational Physics: Problem Solving with Python (No Longer Used)
by Rubin H. Landau
Edition: Paperback
Price: £54.51

3.0 out of 5 stars Missed opportunity, hard to get started with and uneven difficulty, update to Python 3., 8 April 2016
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This is a slightly strange book that covers a lot of ground, it's basically a mathematical Physics cookbook and as such it's unlikely that anyone will read it start to finish.
I got this book to have a play about with Python and its graphing libraries, however this book makes it very diffiuclt to get started, there are some early chapters on fairly basic Python and calculation precision but you're going to need to look elsewhere for an introduction to Python.
Also where's the code - I assume you're not supposed to type it, but I can't find it on the website. Then, there's the Python 2/3 problem - this code is written in Python 2 which is again a little bizarre, surely a new book in 2016 should be using Python 3.
So overall more difficult to get started than I hoped, and a bit of a missed opportunity - there's not much for anyone doing financial calculations either.

I Can Read! Oxford Poetry for 7 Year Olds

Price: £6.99

4.0 out of 5 stars Random selection of poems colourful illustraions, 1 April 2016
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Slightly random selection of poems, which we've read out to my six year old daughter.
Good illustrations and they seemed to be going down well last night, but they're probably fairly tough to read on your own at that age.
A bit of a feel of money for old rope, but probably quite useful in a classroom.
