1.0 out of 5 stars nice premise, appalling technique, 6 Feb. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Had anyone so much as proof read this? Seems like the idea of using an editor, or even a basic spell checker, was completely ignored. Got about 1/3 of the way through before appalling grammar and mistakes in every other sentence drove me away.
The premise is good, but there's a LOT of work needed before this could be considered even close to professional writing.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the most engrossing reads of the last decade, 17 Jan. 2011
I've spent the last three days awake at ungodly hours of the morning. I've cooked, showered and read. And that's about it. At least until now...

Now I'm a few slim pages from the end of this tome that comes good on every aspect of the word 'epic'.

So why have I still got a few pages left? Because I truly don't want it to end. The worst part of this book is knowing that part 2, 3 etc are not yet out. And so I eke out the few remaining pages, desperately drawing every last word out in the hope it'll take that little bit longer to finish.

If you're a fan of other worlds, of new frontiers and original storytelling then I wholeheartedly recommend this book. It is in all honesty one of the most gripping, convoluted and absorbing tales I have read in years, and coming from someone who tends to read 4-6 books a month, you may realise how high praise that is.

Dance Party Pop Hits (Nintendo Wii)

2.0 out of 5 stars nice idea, shame about the tracks, 31 Aug. 2010
The dance mat and the ability to go head to head was what drew me to this, planning for slightly inebriated parties, but the truth is the tracks are largely unfamiliar and the number of tracks is poor. When compared to Just Dance it's song choices are less well known, it's head to head ability is limited and this just means it's far less enjoyable.
Unless you're desperate for more dance based games, steer clear

5.0 out of 5 stars Does exactly what it says on the box, 10 Nov. 2004
there have been a few coments about this pack lacking bonus features, but at the end of the day, that's exactly what it says... Just the shows.
If you're after the original four seasons on a medium that doesn't deteriorate at the rate of video, then this is for you. I for one love this pack, as I might only watch a special feature once, but this wil be rewatched many, many times.
