2.0 out of 5 stars Easy to light but doesn't get to a boil, 27 Sept. 2016
Easy to light and definitely more pleasant than hexamine/Esbit. I used it outside in the BCB folding stove with a small mess tin with 500ml of tap water. The fuel lit very easily and burns quickly. The water had not reached boiling point by the time the block burnt out. It left a fair amount of soot on the tin and a black/white plastic residue in the stove. This residue is very hard to shift. I repeated the test with a hexi stove and block. This took longer to light but achieved a boil with fresh tap water in just over 5 minutes with over half the hexi block left. BCB do give the impression that their testing is done in the Crusader cook system but that is not issued.

1.0 out of 5 stars Very thin filter papers. These are a lot thinner ..., 27 Dec. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Very thin filter papers. These are a lot thinner than Bravilor originals and fold over during use. This allows grounds into the coffee. The only way to avoid this is to use 2 or 3 thereby costing more.

5.0 out of 5 stars Blu-ray review, 6 Nov. 2009
I need say nothing about the film. The B&W transfer to Blu-ray is outstanding. The sound (mono) is great. If you want a demonstration that the print used in the transfer is possibly more important than the medium compare the film with the trailer. The trailer hasn't been restored at all and is only just watchable. I am not a fan of colouring films but the colourised version is just as clear and the colours believable.

This Blu-ray is the best version so far of a great film.
