3.0 out of 5 stars Review of Victorian recipes., 4 Nov. 2011
I bought this book as a present for my mother. She already has tried out a recipe or two and loves it. The book itself is quiet small and the print even more so which I did not expect but the content is fascinating and in a larger size would be an ideal cookery book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Coffee and contentment., 30 Nov. 2010
I first read this book on holidays in the States and it is a wonderful book with many layers of interest. Brilliantly written, the story develops with a tale of reality, an indept knowledge of the Starbucks coffee business and best of all a happy ending story of acceptance, consideration and humor. I would recommend this book as THE MANUAL for anyone working in the hospitality industry anywhere in the world. Michael Gill should be proud of this work.

5.0 out of 5 stars The parrots theorem, 29 Jan. 2010
This review is from: The Parrot's Theorem (Hardcover)
When I first read this book I was in awe of the duality of applying the complicated history of mathematics with a modern day thrilling fictional story with young people as the main characters. It was absolutely brilliant. Perfect for lovers or students of maths who also like a fictional intrigue with a great twist at the end of the tale.
