Generally had problems with this. Poor compatibility with Samsung TV which has caused about 20-30 total hours of headaches and family arguments. Couldn't strike a deal with Samsung? Tell us! Unit defaults back to the default sound mode "sci-if" all the time for no logical reason. Sometimes defaults back to AV4 input for no logical reason even though I'm only using HDMI1 and HDMI2. The unit also occasionally cuts out due to a cabling issue despite cables being orderly. Vast complex remote control for the pseudo-audiophile type... you know, the type who crumble at the thought of not having a 7-band EQ at his fingertips. Mind-bogglingly counter intuitive piece of technology in the year of self-driving cars and smartphones... who would believe that in 2017 we have a large bulky unit whose sole purpose is to amplify sound and yet we are still encountering huge problems... while Apple has invented a phone the size of a flapjack that is a Satnav, telephone, computer, credit card, camera, photo processor, clock, marketplace, calander, calculator, voice recorder, TV, weather forecast and guitar tuner etc etc all in one, for a similar price. I feel like in 2017 we shouldn't be having these sorts of superfluous issues with Hifi. The future is bright, I hope. If you want to earn a billion dollars, develop simple TV and Hifi equipment so that the era of 5 remotes and a spaghetti junction of wires is a thing of the past.

The Good: it produced sound.

This review is from: Sony Vegas Pro 12 (DVD-ROM)
Don't consider this product unless you are an amature or a old fat wedding videographer with a Sony camera. Not even the guys at Sony edit using Sony Vegas (I know this for a fact).

2.0 out of 5 stars Temperamental & generally unacceptable, 13 Dec. 2014
If you have anything between your computer USB reciever and this keyboard (such as a desk), then the wireless signal will be temperatmental. It is not true that this product has a 10M range. My reciever is 1M from the keyboard. Before purchasing, I read two average reviews and decided to take a risk, and I have paid the price.

Rapoo, in this day and age, you should be releasing products that work. £30 is a lot of money to be wasted on a product that cannot function in a standard computing environment. Please don't decieve your customers.

The signal was worse than my previous (awful, cheap) radio. Ariel has snapped and cannot find a decent replacement.

Sounds OK.

The Essence of Christianity (Great Books in Philosophy)
The Essence of Christianity (Great Books in Philosophy)

5.0 out of 5 stars The Essence of Christianty, 16 Oct. 2011
I wrote an extensive review of this book but it never showed up here! In short, I think that Feuerbach provides the most compelling refutation of God and Christianity - one that drifts away from more traditional criticisms (think: cosmological, ontological, teleological etc.), and instead focuses on the anthropological aspects of religion. He reaches a conclusion that is so plainly clear to me - that man created God and religion in man's own image - with striking convinction (if you can get your head around his ambiguous writing style). In my eyes, this book destroys the metaphysical claims made by Christianity, and as a whole, it should be recognised as a HUGELY important contribution to the study of religion.
