2.0 out of 5 stars A bit of a let down..., 7 May 2007
I feel mean writing this as i am an honest FF fan but i have to say that i was not convinced on the so called "brilliance" of this game.

Ok, i'll start with good points:

The graphics are good, the story line is quite interesting to follow and its nice seeing how all (and i mean all) the characters have changed or, in Riku Sora and Kairi's case, matured. Even the music is pretty good.

However the gameplay completly lets you down. The worlds are pretty much all the same and there are way too many cut scenes and limitations for you to completly enjoy the freedom that you had in the first kingdom hearts. It seems like there is a certain pressure on you to complete the game and get it over with and once i had i didnt feel the urge to complete it again (unlike with the first one) not even on the different modes.

Sorry SquareEnix but i'm afraid i have to tell it like it is. :'(

4.0 out of 5 stars Final Fantasy goes to the big screen!, 4 Dec. 2006
This film was not what i expected (in both ways).

The good points are that the graphics are absolutly beautiful and are not to be ignored, the voice actors perform admirably, the music is fantastic and there are new characters for you to fall in love with and old characters that you can welcome back with open arms!

The bad points are that unless you know the whole Final Fantasy 7 game plot then you probably wont understand what the hell is going in this movie. Also the story line isn't the best in the world and i feel it was slightly rushed up together..(i just wish that Cloud would choose between Aeris or Tifa XD)

On the whole an experience that is not to be missed, grab it before it goes and enjoy the ride!
