A lovely light fruity taste with the slight spice of cinnamon. These are my favourite herbal teas. Definitely worth the money.

This was surprising. A young victim of bullying befriends an elderly man, who finds out he is dying. Instead of giving up straight away, the young man pledges to help him reach Switzerland in order to allow him access to help to die. The description of his suicide is clear and compassionate, and not at all depressing. Beautifully written, involving and powerful.

A story of profound poverty, and well meaning bigotry. A new social worker in mid 20th century US struggles to countenance the local policy of forcibly neutering the poor. Based on a real Eugenics policy, it's a pretty harrowing concept. Very powerful.

Mandela was such a remarkable man, that it's impossible not to be engaged and awed by his story. His ability to forgive his captors was truly inspirational.

An excellent book about lost love and lifelong regret, set against the backdrop of racism in the war, when the US interned all their Japanese citizens. Beautifully written by someone I've never heard of. I look forward to more by this author.

Jacobi is a brilliant actor, and i could watch him forever. But he's really only an okay writer. He's articulate and clear, but ultimately I didn't feel engaged.

An odd little story about a load of fairly unlikable people. Any book which makes such a minor deal about severe domestic violence is not what I would describe as entertaining.

4.0 out of 5 stars A remarkable story, 31 Jan. 2014

A powerful story, clearly and well written, by an articulate, intelligent author. What is most remarkable is how balanced and calm the narrative is, considering what he went through.
