just fine, what more can I say about a power adaptor, oh yes, a lovely shade of black and the lead is leady.

I tried several pairs of headphones in a 'blind test' in a shop and I was looking for clarity, depth of bass and the harshest test: classical. These came out top in my opinion...and also for comfort. Unbelievable value, stupidly cheap.

And another test, noise cancelling, girlfriend shouting at me from 6 feet away, couldn't hear a word. Perfect.

Incidentally, bought these to replace disappointing wireless headphones.

1.0 out of 5 stars A waste of money, rubbish., 1 Jan. 2013

I thought the Panasonic label would mean better quality but out of the box, flimsy, plasticy.

Setting up easy enough but no matter how much fiddling with the tuning wheel there is background noise, clicking and hissing.

Sometimes the signal is OK for a while then it gets awful interference.

Maybe OK for a DJ but for serious music, classical of jazz, they're useless.

So I've ordered wired headphones.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simply incredible..., 26 Dec. 2012
This book is a masterpiece. I've been messing about with Cobras in various forms for years and have numerous books on them but somehow missed this. Put it on my Christmas wish list and a family member bought it for me.

A quick look became mesmerising, such incredible detail and research must make this one of the top Cobra histories. And I thought 'I knew it all'. The photographs are extraordinary. I cannot imagine how much time went in to producing this book.

Top marks to the author. A huge achievement, there's even a sympathetic chapter on the replicas, which is fascinating.

Mind boggling. And we all thought our politicians were clever.

Many are stupid, a proportion are treacherous...and those two groups make up the majority.

5.0 out of 5 stars Stunning historic photographs, 16 Aug. 2012

A beautiful book and an interesting angle on the Cobra story because this is all about SHELBY Cobras, not just AC Cobras.

Worth noting as I write this in August 2012 that Classic car magazine says good 427's are now fetching over £500,000.

5.0 out of 5 stars A truly amazing book, 27 May 2011
This review is from: Republic of Pirates (Paperback)
I thought I knew a little about pirates in the Caribbean but this is mind blowing. I had no idea they were so effective, so ruthless, so destructive, so powerful and so real. It took some determined and single minded people to put a stop to their chaos.

History repeats itself. Today, governments are sitting on their stupid hands, allowing evil to flourish.

Unlikely to appeal to people with a short attention span, art students or teenagers.

This is an incredibly powerful, subtle and engaging story.

If you are not moved to tears or very close, you are a heartless oaf or can't follow a plot.

Seriously, one of the best movies ever made. Fabulous acting by RR, on another level when you think of hyped up tosh like the King's Speech (and probably made for a fragment of the cost)

1.0 out of 5 stars Annoying, bulky, 26 May 2011
I damaged my old Casio High Speed FC100 so bought one of these.

Firstly, it's bulky and heavy, it's no longer a compact.

It is very easy to accidentally turn the mode wheel on top, then it doesn't work until you realise it's set wrong, you've missed the shot.

Yes, it's stuffed full of 'extra features', few of which will make any difference to the end result.

I hate it! And now the zoom has packed up.

Have just bought one of the few remaining earlier FC150's, compact, very effective, easy to use.

Casio should learn from Apple, keep things simple, small...and working.

5.0 out of 5 stars The slow motion is awesome...and there's more., 12 Oct. 2010
This is an awesome compact camera and when you get to use the slow motion features, you'll never buy another ordinary camera. People jumping into water, pets, dogs, sports (I do a lot of sailing and cycling photography) it's just incredible, adds another dimenension to everything you do. And it's survived several big sailing trips, sand, sun and sweat.

I love it and don't agree with the comments about picture quality, you people must have it on the wrong settings. I use a Canon 20D SLR and a Canon 400D SLR for conventional shoots, you'd be hard pressed to tell the results apart unless you're being very fussy indeed.

Casio have made a big mistake not advertising this camera more.
