5.0 out of 5 stars Great easy read worth every penny, 4 Sept. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is a fantastic read filled with personal anecdotes and some top tips along the way.

All those in property know that you have to work hard to obtain "passive income" and leverage the skills and expertise of other around you. Francis shares those tips and highlights what can go right or indeed wrong along the way plus a some good old fashioned common sense and some Dolley philosophy!

This book will make you laugh, make you reflect and above all make you believe that anything is possible with dedication, application and above all a sense of why you are doing it.

Laugh, cry but above all buy this book to understand that everyone is like a swan above water but we're all paddling very hard below the water line.

A good easy read and worth every penny

Your Pension Shortfall Your Retirement Rescue Plan
Your Pension Shortfall Your Retirement Rescue Plan
by Gill Alton
Edition: Paperback
Price: £19.99

5.0 out of 5 stars A must read: simples, 12 Nov. 2013
I was fortunate to be given a pre publication copy of this book. The position that the majority of people find themselves in is particularly scarey and having painted the pain Gill presents her rescue plan: property investment.

As a property investor myself I'm clearly very familiar with strategies set out in Gill's book but that didn't stop me diving in to several chapters for a read.

The style is engaging and informative with clear examples. For a complete beginner in property it will be an ideal manual to take control of your future.

Never forget that the right property and the right tax planning can help enhance your retirement pot. Gill maps out the perfect journey for Dave to find his way out of his pension hole.

5.0 out of 5 stars Unleash your Expertise, 29 Aug. 2013
This review is from: Expert Success (Paperback)
We all have skills and expertise in whatever business we choose to run.

Sometimes for whatever reason we fail to be aware of these skills and thus fail to promote ourselves as the experts that we truly are.

So this is a must read for everyone in business. It is full of practical easy to implement steps and top tips to help you claim your expert status and drive your business forward and your income upwards.

I've been fortunate to see Daniel present many times and on every occasion he has unearthed a nugget to help me add value to my business. So the minimum has to be buy the book and implement and find a way to work with him.

3.0 out of 5 stars More to life than the bottom line, 26 Jan. 2013

An engaging read but ultimately you finish the book wondering whether Hilary has enjoyed her life. Would she have had less problems with her son her love life and her health if she had not been so obsessed about her business. Yes life is about choices but balance is needed as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Essential reading for those serious about their business, 2 July 2007
Emotions drive $$$ in an experience!

I have never realised what an impact emotions have. The book identifies the four clusters of emotions that can literally drive or destroy value. The work has been done with London Business School so it must be right!

This has made me look at my interactions with Customers in a new way. I recommend that you read it.
