5.0 out of 5 stars Well made, sharp and do the job, 22 Feb. 2016
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
These are very well made, quite sturdy as the steel is end to end (with the handle covering the 'blunt' end). The knives arrived nicely packaged with decent safety covers for transportation and look a little olde worlde once removed from the box. As they are new they are very sharp and cope with even a well done steak with ease. The sharpness will deteriorate with use, and it can be difficult to re-sharpen serrated knives like these unless you know what you are doing (which I don't). Overall these are very impressive, costing just over a couple of quid a knife and they work as they should.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simple and effective, 26 Jan. 2016
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This arrived nicely packaged, in a blister pack with the company's pink and black branding. Dissappointingly there are no instructions provided, but a quick google will tell you to use luke warm, none soapy water as your ammunition. Simply squeeze the pink and black bulb to fill it. It is recommended to use a lubricant for easy insertion as the plastic tube is quite hard and unyielding. Squeeze the bulb to let the water in, but do not 'unsqueeze' until the nozzle has been removed from your bottom. This process should be undertaken as close to a sluice area in order to avoid any unnecessary leakage. I must admit after using it I felt clean and also strangely liberated. As well as having a mildly amusing name, this is actually a simple to use and effective method for removing unwanted matter from inside your bottom, utilising a process which has been around since Egyptian times.

3.0 out of 5 stars Simple to use, reasonable results, 7 Jan. 2016
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
These are very simple to use, you clean and dry your teeth, attach the gel packs to top and bottom (teeth) and leave for about 20-30 minutes, The drying teeth part feels a bit weird, the attaching to your teeth part means you have to press firmly to ensure the gel penetrates the sides of your teeth. The results were reasonable, although I must confess to being a smoker so I wasn't expecting miracles in the first place. I have used various other teeth whitening products, some more and some less expensive than these and they are in about the middle ground as far as results go, but are quite expensive hence the score.

4.0 out of 5 stars An impresive, expensive watch with presently unfullfilled potential, 7 Jan. 2016
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Vector Luna Smart Watch Review (Performance Model)

Appearance 4/5
The appearance of the watch is outstanding; it has a black, brushed stainless steel casing with a black silicone strap. The design is very sleek and contemporary which means it can be worn for any occasion, easily smart enough for formal occasions as well as being comfortable and casual enough to wear every day. This particular version of the watch is marketed as the ‘Performance Edition’ and the appearance is more than suitable to wear the watch during sporting activity.
The face itself isn’t great, doesn’t ‘look’ real, can easily tell it’s a digital display which is a shame. As of the present moment there are no third party watch faces to download from the Vector Store, so the selection is limited. I feel I am nit-picking here, however, as the watch turns heads and has prompted a number of envious questions in the last few weeks.
A respectful mention should also be given to the Vector Watch’s packaging, in which the watch arrives. This is a factor that may seem insignificant but in my view, it enhances the quality feel of the product in a similar way to the packaging of an Apple device.
Comfort 5/5
The watch is very comfortable despite what seems a large size, the watch face itself is around one centimetre thick and provides a reassuring weight, which adds to the ‘quality’ feel of the watch. Strangely, at the same time, the watch is so comfortable that it is easy to forget you have it on! This is in no small part assisted by the silicone strap, which I’m fairly confident will fit on any wrist.

There are three buttons on the right hand side of the face, which don’t compromise the comfort. The central button you would associate with the rotating knob on conventional watches that is used to alter time/date but because this isn’t necessary, it serves as a button and doesn’t protrude as much as you’d expect. There are two more ‘navigation’ buttons above and below.

Functionality 3/5
Excellent. Does everything it’s supposed to do, no more and no less. First and foremost it’s a watch and it tells the time. In addition the watch vibrates and shows a ring around the edge of the display when you receive a notification. If you turn the face towards you, then it displays the content (around one line of text). If you don’t turn the watch to view the notification when first received, then the ring around the display remains and you can press the middle button to view outstanding notifications at any time. You then use the ‘up/down’ navigation buttons to scroll through different, unchecked notifications. The synchronisation between devices is very good in this respect, for example; if I look at a notification on the watch, it disappears from the phone and vice versa. This feature can be very useful in a hectic, busy lifestyle as it allows you to at least catch important notifications subtlety.

The current configuration on my watch mirrors the settings on my iPhone, which takes a day or two to synchronise after first use, as the watch ‘learns’ which notifications you actually want to see. It is possible to change this and choose a particular set of apps from which you wish to receive your notifications to your watch. The watch face itself is not back-lit, but the display illuminates in the dark when necessary; either on the viewing of a notification or by simply pressing the middle button if you wish to display the time.

A USB wire is provided with which to charge the watch, which is convenient with the Apple Charger. The watch doesn’t take long to charge fully, probably less than one hour. Once fully charged, the watch boasts an exceptional 30 day battery life.
The Vector Luna is also waterproof to 50m, which is essential, given that ‘performance’ model seems to be aimed at those partaking in a more active lifestyle.

Compatibility 3/5
Setting up the watch takes no time at all and is very easy to do (instructions are included with the watch). It’s as simple as downloading the app, creating an account, switching on Bluetooth on and connecting the watch. The Vector Application on iPhone really good, if slightly limited at the moment. It feels as though there could be a lot more apps, which will be developed over time and implemented through updates to the app and the device. As it stands, it works well with iOS and iPhone.

The watch disconnected displaying a ‘link lost’ message a few times in the first few days. I realised that as long as I left the app open on my phone, the connection was maintained.

Extras 2/5
There is a Store available through the Vector App which allows you to download more watch faces, though there aren’t too many to choose from at this stage. As well as the preloaded apps such as the timer and stopwatch, you can also download/activate a selection of four apps including: BBC, ESPN, CNet and The Economist. At the moment they don’t really do a lot, as the BBC for example allows you to scroll through a small selections of headlines using the navigation buttons.

The Luna also claims to monitor activity by keeping track of steps, distance, sleep and calories burned, though it seems unreliable. An example is; if you take your watch off to sleep, the watch assumes that you’ve had a consistent eight hours because of the lack of movement when in reality, the watch has been and left on the side throughout the night.

The watch, technology and applications are however in their early stages and I’m fairly confident that each will improve a great deal over time.

Overall 17/25
As a comfortable and stylish looking performance watch that offers you important notifications, it’s excellent. If you want a smart watch, with the functionality that Apple or Samsung offer then you’re likely to be disappointed. Vector sacrifices extras for battery life. It’s very well priced as you could easily pay £300 for a simple, ‘big-name’ watch that looks and feels as good as this does, and then you have the added bonus of the ‘smart’ features.

In summary, the Vector Luna is quite expensive and there is plenty of room for improvement but that said, this is a good, solid start by ‘the’ new player in this market. A lovely watch to wear and more useful than I originally thought it would be. I, for one, would definitely consider buying other models from Vector in the future.

Price: £17.29

4.0 out of 5 stars A lovely eye catching pendant, 4 Jan. 2016
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This is a really nice piece of jewellery, very eye catching with a nice celtic tear drop design. The presentation box, with an information card about the manufacturer, is lovely and adds to the appeal of this gift. The pendant sits nice and flat and with the decent length chain makes this a great present.

Edition: Paperback
Price: £9.66

4.0 out of 5 stars A perfect introduction to Spanish, 21 Dec. 2015
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This does not obviously encompass all Spanish words, but is an ideal introduction for a child to visualize important and useful words. My little boy's interest has stemmed from numerous visits to Spain and he is reasonably fluent in simple communication, but this book gives him all the additional vocabulary he is likely to need. Everything is split into sections (e.g School and Work) and then has a picture containing all the words you would probably need to know. My little boy loves it.

5.0 out of 5 stars My 7 year old loves it, 30 Nov. 2015
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This item was a lot smaller than expected, standing about 10 inches tall so I was slightly disappointed when it arrived. However, when my son saw it he loved it. It has 'cool' pictures (X Wing fighters for the Star Wars fan). It has a 15 minute timer so that when he goes to be he can switch it on and it switched off automatically. It is very light, produces little heat signature (so won't burn him when he keeps it under the covers) and gives a lovely warm light when switched on. A real winner in both my eyes and especially my son's.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice product, feels weird to start with but gives great results, 30 Nov. 2015
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This has a particularly nice cooling effect when applied, although I was unsure how much to use as it didn't feel like there was any on my face to start with. Use sparingly and it is actually easier to shave than with a normal foam - the only difference is with a foam you can see from the lack of foam where you have shaved and with this gel you can actually see the hairs being removed with the blade.
The gel feels nice when applied after a few seconds, gives much better results than foam and leaves your face feeling refreshed after shaving and the citrus smell lasts on your face after washing. I think I have been converted.

Ink Jet Remanufactured Ink Cartridge Replacement for Canon - 525/CLI 526 Combo Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow

4.0 out of 5 stars As good as the generic own brand, 24 Nov. 2015
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
I cannot tell the difference between this and the original cartridges. Picture quality is as good, no smearing or dropped colours and my photographs print brilliantly. As this is made using recycled materials it is slightly cheaper than the generic brand. These are well worth purchasing to save a few bob.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great at fighting spots, 23 Nov. 2015
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This is a great product. I have used this in conjunction with the Pure Power Moisturiser so this is really a joint review. This looks like something that a certain green ogre would use - it is bright green with little specks inside it. It feels slightly greasy, but goes on quite well on your face (try to avoid your eyes though). You can feel the chemicals working, which together with the microdots leaves you feeling clean and fresh and slightly tingly.
The results have been really good - noticeably less spots and my face feels cleaner and less greasy than before. An excellent product.
