4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent!, 11 Dec. 2007
This review is from: Immoral (Paperback)
Immoral is a cracking story which will keep you guessing until the end. I normally pride myself on being able to work these thrillers out but there's so many twist's to this book that even Sherlock himself would struggle.

Immoral was the winner of the Macavity award for best first novel and understandably so. A cracking plot, strong charecter's, a genuine page turner! Well done Mr Freeman, more of the same please.

5.0 out of 5 stars First class thriller!, 6 Dec. 2007
This review is from: Hide (Paperback)
This is the first book of Lisa Gardner that i have read and it certainly will not be the last. The author has an excellent style of writing and after the first chapter i was hooked.

There's not many book's i've read that i can say have kept me on edge the whole way through, but Hide did just that.

Well worth a few pound's of anyone's money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant!, 6 Dec. 2007
This is a brilliant story from Raymond Feist, an epic that spans many years and once you've read the first page you will not want to put it down until the book is finished.

I first read Magician when i was 14 and it still hold's the same magic now as it did then. There's plenty of action, battle's, love, magic, Elves, Dwarf's, good and evil. It's the start of an amazing chapter of book's that start with the Riftwar series and then continues with the Serpentwar.

I guarantee you will not be left disappointed! Buy this book now and join in with the wonder that is Midkemia.

Talon of the Silver Hawk (Conclave of Shadows, Book 1)
Talon of the Silver Hawk (Conclave of Shadows, Book 1)

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing, 6 Dec. 2007
After reading the reviews for this book i was expecting a big return to form from Feist and i've been left disappointed.

Don't get me wrong, it's a decent read and maybe only gave the story 2 stars as we know when Feist get's it right there's no-one better.

It seemed to me that Talon, the main charecter, was just a little bit too perfect and excelled in everything he done and in a short space of time.

Im keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for more from the rest of this series.
