This review is from: Six Days in Down (Audio CD)
I love this album totally - and the 'quirky' pieces just add to the brilliance as far as I am concerned. I love Portaferry Swing - I use it instead of a cup of coffee to get me going in the morning, totally exhilarating. Beerbelly dancing is entertaining and amazing fun. Why should musician just stick to classical forms of their music? I think its great that they are not hide-bound in this respect.

Considered an indispensable classic when it comes to writing for the Web. It is very good! Although the need to write rapdily 'scannable' copy tends to be driven by commercial imperatives. There should be more to the Web...

4.0 out of 5 stars 23 Things They Don't tell You About Capitalism, 3 Sept. 2012

Easy (relatively) to read and very interesting,a layman's introduction to political and economic thought.

This is a brave book because its about an important but difficult subject which is quite hard to put in general terms. It goes into detail about our current economic woes and also takes an ethical overview.

Its basically positive about Capitalism but one of the strengths of the book is that it is underpinned by an ethical social stance throughout.

4.0 out of 5 stars I love this book..., 18 Dec. 2011

Really well written with skill and imagination by someone in proper control of their material.

As an arts graduate I've never understood exactly what a hypothesis is, or a paradigm. Its been explained so clearly by this book! I've had to buy it for myself so I can read the whole thing.

And its available in used copies, if it wasn't I wouldn't be able to afford it.
