I am not sure what the point of the acoustic hits cd is you should buy the 2cd one surely and where is the fanbox why is it only available in some countries very very bizarre it is still an excellent album. Love the sound of the different instruments which Mozart used apparently according to the wisdom of Magne Furuholmen which can be very suspect at times but we forgive him um going to see them in London next year which should be fun well it would be more fun if it was not at the O2 which quite frankly is not the place for an intimate sound like this but again that is a downfall of their managment and their blindness to what the fans want and all about the money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful acoustic Album but stop banging on about being in Giske I aint interested, 9 Oct. 2017
Oh my goodness I didnt think this would be a good idea re working all the wonderful aha hits but its fantastic the beautiful soaring unique voice of the one and only Morten Harket really is enhanced by the acoustic arrangements. The special guests on the songs wasnt really required but anyway. This is a must have album for all fans and can you believe they have improved Take on Me which quite frankly is a bit of an annoying song now and when you say you love aha everyone always says oh yeah i love Take on Me and its like so? do you actually realise most of their back catalogue is far better than that song alone. Another annoying thing is all the people that bang on about going to Giske well good for you very happy you were part of it but let it go im just buying the cd for now i can do without the weeping audience gurning at the camera much as I adore Magne Furuholmen and his talented fingers and Pal and his cool temperament. and Morten who is well Morten I will get the dvd in a few months. So very recommended and bless them for still being around and producing wonderful spine tingling music x.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful Song, 10 April 2016
This is a gorgeous song and I cant help thinking its about aha themselves and that Morten has had enough and the CIS album and tour are the real goodbye and end of the affair. I love Magne's words and the lilting guitar is so so beautiful it actually makes me very sad. Truly a delicious aha song that stays with you I will so miss Morten Paul & Magne and hope this really is not the end.

5.0 out of 5 stars So Sparkly, 15 Mar. 2013

This is a beautiful pendant set in 14K yellow gold. It is only a small carat weight but you can't get Sphene in large carat weights. The stone is so sparkly and you can see why it's said Sphene has a better refraction than a diamond, this one has all the colours and it is mesmerising. A lovely piece of jewellery if you want something different, The Jewellery Channel delivered extremely quickly too.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must have in your cottage garden, 1 Sept. 2011
Centaurea montana or for that matter other centaureas are a must have in any garden. They have so many endearing qualities the flowers are just beautiful if you keep cutting them down they just spring back up for months and months. They flower early summer and go right through to autumn. They like full sun but dont like being too dry on the roots so will need a bit of watering. They also smell so sweet and another big plus is that the bees absolutely love centaureas. I cannot recommend this group of plants enough, try different varieties too they are all fabulous.

4.0 out of 5 stars Never Too Far, 7 Jan. 2011
This review is from: Glitter [DVD] [2001] (DVD)
First off this film is no way as bad as some reviews i have read, it's actually quite a sweet sad story and people need to look behind the cheesy lines. I dont rate Max Beesley but he is quite cute as the love interest. The soundtrack is actually the best reason to see the film along with Mariah. This is a perfect kind of movie for Mariah to appear in as she is kind of playing herself so isnt a stretch for her but she can act and its not a long film so great for a girlie night in. I would recommend this if you want a simple film with some good music. Watch it you may be surprised!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book for 11 year olds, 29 Oct. 2010

This review is from: Rose Blanche (Paperback)
My son read this at school recently as they are covering World War II. Although the text is very simple the whole book is completely wonderful along with the stunning pictures. My 11 year old doesnt normally go on about books but requested this as a recent birthday present because it really affected him and he thought about the story a lot. When i purchased it and look at it myself i completely agree with him, the story is touching and saddening to say the least and i think most children and adults would also think about the same. I cant recommend it highly enough.

5.0 out of 5 stars Underated Hammer, 29 Oct. 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: The Gorgon [DVD] [2010] (DVD)
I purchased this recently having waited for a couple of years for a dvd release on these shores, the wait was worth it as i think this film is one of the most underated of Hammer's. I love the fact you barely see the gorgon through the film and the usual dark atmosphere and buildings that Hammer use. I cant recommend this film enough its one of my all time favourites and Cushing and Lee do a fine job though Lee is underused. The dvd also contains a nice little booklet with some great info.
