1.0 out of 5 stars Virgin told me I could only expect 70-80mbs via wireless ..., 2 May 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Virgin told me I could only expect 70-80mbs via wireless, so I fitted this usb wireless adapter, switched to 5k channel and I'm now experiencing speeds in excess of 100mbs. Thank you TP-Link
Had this adapter now for 4 months, now it has died and needs replacing, good while it lasted but short shelf life. Also I found no Windows 10 drivers by TP-Link and Windows 8 drivers are a bit unstable.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not Good, 18 Nov. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
After 18 months this shaver is absoluter rubbish. The power switch has gone, keeps switching itself on when unattended and so running down the battery. Sometimes it won't switch on either, no use at all.
Not a bad shave whilst working, but definitely not for long term use.

1.0 out of 5 stars Waste of Money, 25 Mar. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This book is literally a waste of money. Very little useful information and very badly written. Quite a few sentences in the book are repeated so the book has never been proof read.

2.0 out of 5 stars Nothing New, 2 Mar. 2013
This book is OK if you have no prior knowledge of social media but for those who have, there is nothing new at all in this book.

2.0 out of 5 stars Expensive, little direction, 28 Sept. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
For those of us who use Adobe Photoshop this book is of little value as half of the book deals with techniques used in Painter. Add to this a large section looking at the work of other digital artists and, although some techniques are discussed, they are little value.
The techniques that are explained need some prior Photoshop knowledge so are not good for beginners.
Overall this book has little for experienced digital artists or those new too it.

2.0 out of 5 stars Problems after two days, 1 Aug. 2012
I recommended this computer for my partner, it arrived promptly on Saturday.
By Tuesday the hard drive was knocking and on occasions was refusing to boot as "it was unable to find the start-up disk"
It is unusual for a hard disk to fail after two days but this did.
Whilst it was running I have to agree with the other reviewers, it was silent and fast.
Returning to Amazon for a refund and unsure if we shall buy HP again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Macbook Pro, 14 April 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I have a Macbook Pro 2.4 (late 2008) and have just fitted 2 x 4GB strips, works great. The Macbook Pro is much faster and runs cooler with more ram

Highly recommended for Macs,
