What I particularly liked about Andy Thomas's the "Truth Agenda" is the thoughtful, fair-minded review of all the conspiracy researchers and sources, not to mention the well-ordered and serious-minded treatment in the body of the book. All the names (and more) that you have come across in your own reading are there, plus a few more. The discussion is scholarly without being intellectual. For those of us in regular nine-to-five jobs it is impossible to devote the time (and money) to follow up most of the intriguing theories and theorists that abound, but Andy does a very good job of laying out the options one can follow up if one wants. Lucid and well-written, "Truth Agenda" should be on the bookshelves of all mainstream journalists, especially those who think what they report on and write about comprises "the truth." Strongly recommended.

A little bit dated now (ie end Bush, pre-Obama eras) but a handy introduction to David's thinking on his major conspiracy and collective consciousness theories. Far less daunting than the multi-hour DVDs spruiked on his website. Probably more the compelliing speaker than discursive writer, but I will try to get round to evaluating his theories in one or other of his books.. Recommended for the newcomer (like me).
