5.0 out of 5 stars A brief reposte, 18 Mar. 2006
If you find the Da Vinci code intriguing, but don't want to spend days researching the background - this will help separate the history from the fiction; 30-60 minutes to read & clearly presented.
Don't think I've got anything against Dan Brown's book - it's a reasonable novel - and this author doesn't attack it either, he's simply out to provide background to the real history.

4.0 out of 5 stars Spiritual & practical, 23 Jan. 2006
The authors present some qualitative research into the spiritual walk of people "beyond the fringe" of the church(es). They then consider this theologically and practically, give examples of ways of relating which have worked here in England.
Some of the examples are specifically Anglican, and might only adapt as far as mainstream churches, but much is of use to any congregation willing to 'think outside the box'.
