5.0 out of 5 stars VFM BIG TIME!, 22 Aug. 2016
Been meaning to write something about these headphones for a while. I have the HTC10 phone and with that came a free pair of hi-res headphones worth £80-£90 . Well you know, in my admittedly not very scientific comparison test, there ain't that much difference, and the free headphone are very good!!! The Zircons provide a nice, wide soundscape with all the highs and lows you would ever want , at an impressively low price !
Real value for money!!!
For those out there who want quality sound on the move without having to spend a fortune, these will not disappoint!

5.0 out of 5 stars Life affirming sounds ...., 25 Jun. 2015
This review is from: Wild Suspense (Audio CD)
Bought this on vinyl back in the day just at a point in my musical listening life when I was tiring of reggae... look, it happens!!!
These days, can't stop listening to roots and dub, so dug this out and, well what can I say.... a true classic !!! How wrong was I to ignore this gem?! Great tunes, great playing, great vocals and great dubs. What's there not to love?!

5.0 out of 5 stars Jazz piano joy...., 21 Dec. 2014
This review is from: Natsukashii (Audio CD)
In order to balance the earlier, superfluous single star review, this is music of power and originality that deserves to heard by a far wider audience than it will get...piano trio jazz at its very best.!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars prog progesses ....., 19 Mar. 2011
First of all , why am I the first to rate this album ???? Its way too good for just one review !!!!
I love Yes , and I really feel that this band retain the essence of much of what that band stood for .... by that , I dont just mean that the bass player or guitarist sound in any way like Squire of Howe , or that the singer sounds like Anderson .... oh no .
They seem to have taken inspiration from that group (and others) , and created something original and inspiring.
Its a real musical adventure ... a multi layered journey ... loud grungy guitar mix with lyrical instrumental passages , effective vocal harmonies , great choruses and sublime tunes . Yes , tunes , which after all , is what many of the great prog bands from the past specialised in !!!!
You dont even need to be a prog fan to love this ... just a fan of great music !

5.0 out of 5 stars more proggy magic !, 9 July 2008
The jury may still be out regarding studio album quality since the departure of Neil Morse , but this DVD (and the Beard show I saw 3 days ago) proves that as a live unit , they must currently be one of the best prog outfits about. The mixture of old and newer material works well - the musicianship and good old fashioned showmanship is exceptional. This band look like they are enjoying it as much as the fans. As other reviewers have pointed out , Mr D'Virgilio has come from behind the drums and grown into the role of lead vocalist , but everyone does their bit to present some inspired performances. All in all , a must have package.

5.0 out of 5 stars my album of the year ?, 9 July 2008
It's early to make such a claim , but this is soooo good ....
Beautiful subtle musical arrangements enfold a delicate and emotional voice - a feeling of quiet drama permeates every song. The 40 minute journey with Miss Edgar is over all too soon , and you just want to repeat the experience.

5.0 out of 5 stars PROGELICIOUS !!!!, 30 Dec. 2006
Prog is alive and well folks , and here is the audio and visual proof ... filmed on the back of their best album in a while , they present a selection from "Paradox Hotel" , plus a choice selection of older stuff. Its all brilliantly filmed , and clearly the band are on top form. Although most of the songs are longish , self indulgence is kept to a minimum , so you're left with 2 DVDs worth of beautiful music.
