A good book but there aren't any photos you can't see on google that don't come up incredibly frequently. I was let down, but as a fan I still enjoyed the book. Not a must have but if you're a fan might be worth a look.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just a shame its finished, 24 Feb. 2014

A rather disturbing insight into the mind of a man I would call a genius. Disturbing in so far as you find yourself engaged, observing the depravity, taking in the adolescent horror, the youthful ambition and general thrust of a man who gives little in the way of f***s; worst of all you find yourself coveting such a life. When you put the book down you may look back in regret at not having bumped heroin in front of two recovering addicts, simply to tempt them, you may find yourself pining for a positively liberal [in its disregard for ethnicity] threesome or even signing two months of summer away to plant trees in the Canadian wilderness. Mcinnes is a fine author, the book comes across as if you've just met him at the pub and ask him what he's been up to for the last 25(ish) years. Haunting, harrowing and above all else, enlightening.

This review is from: Bugatti Men's F13505 Boots (Shoes)
For the last year or so I've been after a proper pair of boots. All I've found is soft leather, light tread and general weakness. It's infuriating. When walking home from the pub, down country roads, slightly p****d, you want a boot that will deal with the mud, scoff in the face of torn up tarmac and put up with water. These boots have significantly thicker, sturdier leather than most others I've bought, take wax well and look pretty nails. The only reservation I have is that the tread on the front is quite slight. Time will tell but aside from my boots combat high, these are the best I've come across.

This axe is fine for someone with a passing interest in attacking timber with an axe, split a few logs a month, a year, and you'll be fine but use it more than once every few months and you'll hit some snags:

- The hickory handle is too thick; not 'just sand it'thick, studidly thick, you'd need a belt sander to get it to where it should be. (I will concede that this is personal preference)

- The axe head is poorly fitted to the shaft, at work we have Wetterlings, Gransfors and Bahco axes, all on their original handles after years of my boss's abuse; this has wobble on arrival and has some form of glue/epoxy at the top of the head where you should see a wedge as well as glue around the neck/base of the head. Does not inspire confidence with heavy use.

Now this is a cheap axe so some concessions must be made but I would advise looking at Bahco or Hultafors range for a cheaper axe.

NB The axe head is fine, the steel seems decent enough (it really is hard to make a poor axe head), so it may be worth taking the head off (saw the lower shaft off, burn the remaining wood out of the head - ensure you don't put it in too hotter a fire to prevent ruining the temper/heat treatment of the steel) and rehandling it with a decent handle and wedge or get it proffesionally done, as it may be cheaper than buying a top of the range axe. Just a thought. If you read this far, good effort.

Good read, but for a layman like me a heavy one. I struggled to read in big chunks, pacing and breaks are key! Not one for the holiday perhaps but nevertheless an essential piece of work for anyone with an interest, general or otherwise, in philosophy.

Letter Concerning Toleration (Hpc Classics Series)
by John Locke
Edition: Paperback
Price: £3.45

5.0 out of 5 stars John Locke, 7 Oct. 2012

Fascinating writing with some timeless points that easily transition to modern topics as Locke is heavily critical and vocal on religion amongst other things. If indulging philosophical interest in political philosophy its perfect but I also recommend to thos studying philosophy as tolerance is a brilliant topic and this is a perfect accompaniment.

Brilliant Compilation, everything from the heavy punk of the bands inception to smoother, 'poppyer' goth rock towards the end. Brilliant but with many Damned fans (at least from my experience) either hard line punk era lovers or finally home goths this album may divide some, but perfect for a fan with no hard line opinions!
