1.0 out of 5 stars Bad PVR, 14 April 2015
Very unresponsive. The remote must be pointed directly at the unit, and the keys pressed hard.. often three times! Also the central arrow keys of the remote have a very annoying clicking sound. Menus are a bit slow, and the style has been changed from our previous Humax ( 9300T). EPG does not load like before, everything is just slow. Picture is great !

2.0 out of 5 stars Good phone. But cannot run jellybean operating system, 14 Oct. 2013
Great, in many ways. But do not get it with the latest software upgrade. I bought it with gingerbread, then it wanted to upgrade, so I let it. It has turned into an almost un-usable smartphone. I cannot understand how Samsung would allow this software update. Im not sure what to do :(

3.0 out of 5 stars Good bag. Inacurate description, 13 Jan. 2012
Great bag. Description stated it had a headphone jack built in, which serves two headphones. It does not !
Two pockets are useful, one for player, another for dvds and transformer. Also has straps to connect to head rest in car. Not a rigid bag, but semi rigid.

3.0 out of 5 stars DMP B200, 3 Oct. 2011
Great screen. Easy to use. Not very compatible with normal video codecs, i mean specific video codecs such as .mkv will only play on particular discs, and not on a dvd-rw or from the SD card slot. Other negatives (there are many positives, and positive reviews, so im giving the negatives ! ) .... It is quite noisy, as the disc spins. The disc drive noise is slightly amplified by the hollow plastic case. This is loud enough to be distracting if using in ear headphones in bed. It is slightly awkward to operate in the dark (I mean in bed). Buttons small. Disc does not slot in ergonomically. The sound is appalling, and should be far better for the money. Unit feels plasticy and cheap. The buttons on the unit are very basic, could really do with a pause button. I only use the remote from a foot away, so it is not really necessary ! My wife has a new ipad and it's video and sound quality is in another league.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Book., 2 April 2010
This review is from: The Photographer's Eye (Paperback)
Worth Buying. Beautiful photos, mostly taken in America, but spanning the history of photography. Black and white portraits, landscapes, interiors, by different well respected photographers. The reproductions are normal quality, what you would expect, no better no worse.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good book for growing wine in England ( U.K. ), 2 Mar. 2009
This is a great book. I own three others, probably all from Amazon, and I think Growing Vines to make wines is the best. It deals with the specifics of growing vines in the U.K. and is very clearly written. It is also very detailed. Pros and Cons of each vine are described (grown in England), everything from planting a cutting to maturing a wine, is broken down into small steps with good illustrations and photos.

3.0 out of 5 stars Balance, 10 July 2007
One reason this documentary appeals to so many, must be because of the continual dramatisation and simplification of the issues in the media. The relationship between CO2 and global warming has never received a pubic debate, at least not in the British media. We went from the government ignoring such issues, to the media and government presuming we all agree with CO2 driven climate change. If this documentary opens up a public debate, and cuts down on the endless media driven drama, it must be a good thing. I do not know what to believe at the moment. I would tend to side with this documnetary if all i had was the Al Gore film for comparison. Luckily there is the internet and books, now we just need the media to stick two prominent scientists together in a studio with opposing views. This documenatary is worth watching, and made me think carefully about the way i form my beliefs.
