5.0 out of 5 stars A masterpiece, 20 Mar. 2006
This CD is full of excellent tracks which have been composed very well. The drums fit amazingly with the basslines and treble. I am not going to list the best songs because it is good throughout (only the Shirley Bassey song annoyed me). In my advice you should buy the other version of this CD which has extra tracks. I havent heard them but if this album is anything to go by, then you should definitely get it

2.0 out of 5 stars A load of rubbish, 20 Mar. 2006
Having thoroughly enjoyed the last two albums (Is This It? and Room On Fire) i can honestly say i was very disappointed. It still has the same background music expected from the strokes but it is so much harder and more distorted. The tracks are not as tuneful and it is consistantly unvaried throughout.
Don't waste your money on this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth Your Money!, 20 Mar. 2006
This review is from: Simple Things (Audio CD)
This album is a lot more synthesized, whereas 'When It Falls' is more acoustic and there is more singing. I like both albums equally but that is just something to bear in mind when considering this album. Standout songs for me were...
Give It Away (Instrumental)
Red Dust (Instrumental)
Simple Things
Likufanele
In The Waiting Line
Really worth your money. This is the most relaxing music i've ever heard. Great when feeling a bit stressed. BUY THIS ALBUM 'nuff said

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth your money, 20 Mar. 2006
This review is from: Equilibrium [DVD] [2003] (DVD)
This film has an intriguing storyline, great acting and some great memorable action sequences.
Not many extra features though: Brief interviews with cast members and some insight into what sort of film the director was aiming to achieve.

This album is the best Train album. Alternatively, the new album 'For Me, It's You' is also very good. Buy both

1.0 out of 5 stars THE WORST STEREOPHONICS ALBUM YET, 19 Mar. 2006
THIS ALBUM IS THE DETRIMENT TO THE STEREOPHONICS MUSIC.
Previous albums were a lot more acoustic than this one, even though there were some great harder songs (vegas 2 times / half the lies you tell aint true). However, this album has spoilt the stereophonics music by poluting it with distortion and boring electric guitar rhythms. The songs are not not very varied; they all sound very similar. I try to pretend this album does not exist.
The best stereophonics albums are JUST ENOUGH EDUCATION TO PERFORM and YOU GOTTA GO THERE TO COME BACK.

3.0 out of 5 stars An average camera., 19 Mar. 2006
This camera has its ups and downs...
Although the widescreen is great, it is more likely to break than other cameras. Therefore it is advisable to buy a case for it. The official L55 case costs about 20 pounds so i would avoid it.
Its macro is very good for an unproffesional digital camera, and the zoom is good too. However, i was hoping there would be a burst mode. You can take maximum 4 photos in succession and the delay between is unchangeable.
The internal memory is reasonable (about 40 wallpaper sized images). The effects are limited so its best just to use photoshop afterwards. If that is not an option for you then this camera is not great for art photography.
As a camera for general use it is good because it turns on quickly, and flash is easily adjustible.
BUY THIS CAMERA IF you want a simple digital camera for personal use.
DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA if you want perfect quality pictures, and take photography very seriously.

5.0 out of 5 stars BUY THIS CD!, 19 Mar. 2006
This is the best stereophonics album followed closely by 'YOU GOTTA GO THERE TO COME BACK'.
It has a good balance between rock and acoustic rock and there is only one song on this album that i don't much like (lying in the sun). BUY THIS CD

5.0 out of 5 stars A great game, 19 Mar. 2006
The first thing that i would say about this game is that it is hard. That is no understatement. If you are a gamer that can get frustrated easily, walk away. This is for dedicated gamers.
Good, now ive gotten that out of the way, i can get to the actual game. I found this game extremely enjoyable, and i have played through it several times. Ninja Gaiden Black IS NOT A SEQUEL to the orignal game. it is a repackaging with a few bonuses. It has extra content from the online 'Hurricane Packs'. This content includes extra costumes and weapons including the Lunar (a staff) which is very cool. There are also several new enemies and a mission mode which can be unlocked after completing the game. This mission mode consists of 50 or so levels which take place in arenas from locations in the game. They are small challenges but they are challenging. Even by the end of this game when you think that you have mastered the controls, this mode can be very difficult. Your strategies are possibly more important than your technique.
The combat system is excellent, as is the framerate. You won't be disappointed by the graphics. One problem with the orignal game was that the camera was a bit of a problem. Black has a new camera system which works a lot better.
The storyline is not very deep, but the gameplay is varied enough for you to be able to ignore that. There are some puzzles in the game as well as just fighting and sometimes the only way to proceed is to use manouvres like wall-running etc.
Many reviews will say this game is TOO HARD. This is only the case if you do not apply simple techniques to the way you control your character. For example you will need to spend a lot of the time blocking and attacking at the right moment. If this is something that you are not patient enough to do then it's no wonder that you end up not enjoying this game.
This is a great game if you are not so quick to shun it. It takes some time to adapt to the way you must play, but overall i would recommend this to anyone.
CAUTION: The european versions of the original game were censored - no decapitions. All versions of NINJA GAIDEN BLACK feature decapitions. If your are buying this game for a child i would bear that in mind.
