4.0 out of 5 stars Vegan products, 14 Oct. 2009
This review is from: Animal Free Shopper (Paperback)
An excellent reference for new & experienced vegans, but by no means an exhaustive list. Definitely worth owning a copy though. Apart from food, it also covers drink (hard & soft), cosmetics and clothing. It also covers more obscure things such as office supplies and musical instruments and even pet supplies.

4.0 out of 5 stars Hardcore thorn!, 19 Oct. 2006
This review is from: Thornography (Audio CD)
I always get excited when the Filth excrete a new slice of steaming musical gold, this being no exception. In many ways the music itself seems rather more subdued than much of their older works (in my humble opinion, Midian saw the dawn of an entirely new, more accessable, Filth. I don't mean that in a bad way), but their lyrics are, thankfully, still as gore-encrusted, yet oddly romantic, as ever.

It's fair to say that COF have evolved with the times, allowing themselves a little glimpse of the mainstream without allowing it to infect them negatively. Call it growing up, if you will (the very last words in the inlay are "Cradle Of Filth play at being grown ups exclusively").

Not quite sure what to make of their cover of Heaven 17's 'Temptation'... Should I be proud or horrified? Admittedly, it rocks and is definately an improvement on the orignal, but still - it's POP, for Satan's sake!

In short, a must-buy for Filth fans both new and old. Yay!

5.0 out of 5 stars This is why I LOVE Final Fantasy!, 28 Nov. 2002
This book is one of the millions of reasons why Final Fantasy has dominated the RPG scene for over a decade. The amount of background work, the staggering attention to detail, the seemingly endless depth of the charas, all help to immerse the player in a fantasy world that almost feels as if it might, in some strange, other-worldly way, be home...
As owner of all FF games since FFIV, I can safely say that this book is a gem and an absolute must-buy for anyone with so much as a passing interest in the FF series. I just hope that they bring out art books for VIII, X and XI too!
