To be honest this was a bit of a punt at £14.99 but this a brilliant piece of vinyl . The sound is great and the band are on top form. No point in going
track by track if you are reading this you know them anyway, but if you like Rush and vinyl get this - highly recommended .

5.0 out of 5 stars 5 Star prog Metal, 7 Dec. 2013
Bought this on a whim and really enjoyed it. Easily the best album of its type this year and better than the latest Dream Theater (not that that's bad )
Every track has something to offer and two vinyl bonus studio tracks are outstanding
The vinyl it self is very clean and flat and the sound excellent
Buy for prog metal fan for Christmass and make them happy '

Nice 180 gram flat vinyl in a good package
I bough this as a bit of a punt and loved it. Walters playing is superb and the vinyl sound sits it well.
If you like the blues you will or be disappointed

The tin is very flimsy , in fact it bent slightly as I removed the packaging. Despite using cake release spray the cakes still stuck slightly to the bottom. It will do until I find a replacement. If you want this for a one off bake or a tin that will not be used often it will be OK but for a lot of use I would look elsewhere.

First value for money . A nice double black heavy weight vinyl, a cd and bonus tracks. So great value and other manufactures should take note - this is how to add value and sell records
Now for the music, excellent stoner rock and just what you would expect from The Sword. The duelling giutars are sharp and the riffs incisive . If you have not heard The Sword before and you like Sabbath I think you will like this . my only criticism is its a bit one paced, a nice slower track would have broken it up. The live bonus tracks are good and the cover of Cheap Sunglasses faithful to the original and in keeking with the overall sound of th record.
If you like this try Legend by Witchcraft - it's an even better album and one of the best Sabbath style CDs I have heard in a long time

4.0 out of 5 stars Live from New York Vinyl, 26 Sept. 2012
First thing the vinyl , two nice clean slabs of 180 grms vinyl. A few little pops , but nothing a good clean won't cure. Not sure what the problems are with the CD but sounds good on my Project Genie Mk 2.
A nice selections of songs , especially the Rory Gallagher and Gary Moore covers. Nice to hear all the guest appearances as well. Don't Explain was was my vinyl of the year last year - how about a full tour Joe ?

As normal Joe plays a blinder (would expect nothing else). The only reason for a lack of five stars is no digital download - check out the Rival Sons new album Head Down brilliant record and a digital copy that's value for money

5.0 out of 5 stars Even better on vinyl......, 16 May 2011
I have had this album on download for months and consider it the best Rainbow / Deep Purple clone I have heard ( and I have heard a few !). Not a duff track in sight. I saw it was available in vinyl I didn't hesitate. The vinyl is good quality and suits the retro feel of the album. No point in a track by track review all good . Buy and enjoy !
