Leitz A4 Hard Cover Notebook, Purple (80 Sheets, Ruled, 90 gsm Ivory Paper, Wow Range)
Price: £12.59

4.0 out of 5 stars Leitz A4 Hard Cover Notebook Purple - Nice Colour Nice Quality but Not a Nice Price, 27 July 2017
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Good quality ruled paper and a nice hard backed book but a bit too pricey even if on offer I think.
The sort of book that you could use if taking notes for a meeting or studying as looks the part plus something to lean on if needing to with it being a hard backed book. Not sure how the corners will fair though after being in son's school bag for a few days with his revision notes in. He saw it and liked the design and thought it just the job for his notes to be written in. If cheaper in price would buy one for myself.
Like the colour like the quality but not the price.

Burt's Bees 100 Percent Natural Moisturising Tinted Lip Oil, 1.1 ml, Whispering Orchid
Burt's Bees 100 Percent Natural Moisturising Tinted Lip Oil, 1.1 ml, Whispering Orchid
Price: £9.99

3.0 out of 5 stars Burt's Bees - No Staying Power But Soft Lips - 100 Percent Natural Moisturising, 27 July 2017
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
I like the colour and feeling it leaves my lips after using it but no staying power whatsoever I found.
Another really hard part was opening it, the cellophane wrapper omg broken finger nails and then when it did open lots of presses to get the colour out.
It looks modern and pencil like in your makeup bag and fits into a pocket nicely. For the price though expensive as you do have to reapply it often, lasting only two biscuits worth for me sadly. I like the moisturing texture of it and the smell but that's about it sadly. Can see where Burts were going with this but needs more staying power for me. Plus not as easy to apply as their other lipsticks or pencils more fiddly I found this one to be more so if using a darker red coloured one as it does not go on as easily and a couple of goes needed to get a nice finish on lips with the darker coloured one.

The Mountain: The Breathtaking Italian Bestseller
The Mountain: The Breathtaking Italian Bestseller
by Luca D'Andrea
Edition: Hardcover
Price: £12.38

4.0 out of 5 stars The Mountain - Eerie at Times - Luca D'Andrea, 27 July 2017
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
I did have to keep asking myself was he mad or suffering a lot more than he thought he was?
The main character is seeking both the truth and also closure in a way I found and at times the emotional connection with his daughter was just wonderful. She seemed to help him in her own way to try to see things in another light. The villagers though where his wife grew up and his father still lives seemed to think differently and want nothing more than the documentary film maker to go and leave. Who wants the past unraking after so many years, But for Salinger it's different he wants to find out who, why and what was responsible for those bodies and the way they were left. Will it cost him his own sanity and that of those he loves? Eerie at times and at times it went a bit slower than I would have liked it to have gone but nethererless still enjoyable.

One Bad Turn: DS Claire Boyle Thriller 3 (Ds Claire Boyle 3)
One Bad Turn: DS Claire Boyle Thriller 3 (Ds Claire Boyle 3)
by Sinéad Crowley
Edition: Paperback
Price: £12.38

5.0 out of 5 stars One Bad Turn - Sinead Crowley - Can be Read as a Standalone Too, 26 July 2017
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
One I enjoyed have read the previous books in this series but even if not could have read this as a stand alone book. You might get a better idea of character set ups and relationship history but this can be read alone without any problems.
Claire steps into what should be a place of help and peace, ok coughing kids, sneezing and other ailments but not one where a woman is brandishing a gun for certain. Obviously some history with the woman with the gun and who she is holding hostage, no spoilers but did not expect it to end up as it did and only really got the sense of what it might be right near the end. Could not have second guessed this at all which is why I enjoyed it even more.
Claire loves her husband, child and family life but he thinks she puts her professional life before them this time could it have even more drastic consequences than ever before? Fast paced and one that keeps giving in terms of trying to guess what might happen.

Tisserand 10 ml Head Clear Aromatherapy Roller Ball
Tisserand 10 ml Head Clear Aromatherapy Roller Ball
Price: £5.95

5.0 out of 5 stars Tisserand Aromatherapy Roller - Just the Job for Muggy Heads Not Too Strong Scented, 25 July 2017
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Not smelt a hint of lemon but the mint for sure is there. Refreshing but not over powering at all, actually quite a subtle scent. Yes the mint gives it a hit but nothing too strong.
Lovely and refreshing for when feeling a muggy head coming on and not wanting to take painkillers. Feels nice rubbing it on your temples if your head is hurting as feels like a massage when rolling it on the painful area.
Just the thing for keeping in your handbag for using when out and about plus insects do not tend to like it that much either as noticed not as many bites when using this at all when out in garden.

Cold Brew Coffee: Techniques, Recipes & Cocktails for Coffee's Hottest Trend
Cold Brew Coffee: Techniques, Recipes & Cocktails for Coffee's Hottest Trend
by Chloë Callow
Edition: Hardcover
Price: £10.00

4.0 out of 5 stars Cold Brew Coffee - Chloe Callow - Hardbacked Small Arty Designed Coffee Book, 25 July 2017
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
An interesting coffee table book for anyone that loves drinking or making coffee.
Hardbacked small book that gives the basics, history and recipes for making cold brew coffee and some of them sound a lot more interesting than others I found when glancing through it. A few noted down for husband to try out next time too. Arty in the way that coffee rings, blotches etc are put on some pages to look like they have been put there whilst making some of the recipes. Would make a good gift idea for anyone that loves coffee. We all drink coffee in some description at our house so this book is a welcome addition to our usual coffees.
Four stars though really due to the price, if slightly cheaper would be five.

BED HEAD by TIGI Urban Antidotes Recovery Moisturising Conditioner for Dry, Damaged Hair 200 ml
BED HEAD by TIGI Urban Antidotes Recovery Moisturising Conditioner for Dry, Damaged Hair 200 ml
Price: £6.95

4.0 out of 5 stars Bed Head - Conditioning Recovery Item - A Godsend for Dyed Blonde Hair but Pricey, 25 July 2017
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This I have found to be one of the best for dyed blonde hair as it does keep it feeling healthy and non frizzy even after being out in the sun. Smells nice and not loads needed so seems expensive but should last a while. Have tried others out as being blonde sun seems to make hair feel more brittle and coarser but this conditioner seems to make it feel smoother and healthier easily.
Four stars as on offer a really good buy but full price and a bit too much I think. I like the Bed Head products but do find them to be more on the expensive side if not on offer. Tend to then look at other expensive ones to see if any offers on them. But if BH on offer would always try to purchase them first.

A di Alessi Gianni Glass Jar, Pink Lid, 140 cl, (AMDR06 P)
A di Alessi Gianni Glass Jar, Pink Lid, 140 cl, (AMDR06 P)
Price: £15.00

5.0 out of 5 stars Alessi Biscuit Jar or Other Uses - Airtight Seal - Fun but Practical Too, 24 July 2017
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Good airtight jar and this sized one will fit in two packs of Jammie dodgers (ok two had to be eaten otherwise the man got in the way).
At least you can see what's in the jar how many biscuits left and more importantly they are kept fresh with it having a nice tightly sealed lid.
Fun but also practical. Comes boxed in official Alessi box and well packed so if giving as a present easy to wrap as nice box shaped.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Devil's Claw - Lara Dearman - Enjoyable First - Maybe the Start of a Series, 24 July 2017
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
A woman found dead is it suicide or other means? A good first read I found by this author, could see it maybe going further into a series as it sort of read that way for me at least.
Guernesy a lovey setting but maybe not if so many other murders might have been committed here. This latest one if foul play is suspected is another in the list of the ones over the past number of years. Yes Jennifer has her work cut out with delving into the past, folklore tales but are they really just that or hiding something more sinister. Coming back to the place you lived so many years, but to find terror on your doorstep on your return not the best start. Yes I could easily read another by Lara Dearman.

Without a Word: A compelling mystery from the critically acclaimed author
by Kate McQuaile
Edition: Paperback
Price: £7.99

5.0 out of 5 stars Without a Word - Kate McQuaile - Part Mystery Part Family Dynamics Enjoyable, 23 July 2017
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Orla in London and Lillian in Ireland two old friends who talk regularly but one goes to answer the door never to return. Just when something was about to be revealed in a Skype talk.
I enjoyed the way it was written but lots of characters in it and at times had to stop and think which one was related to who or what context their relationship was to both Orla and Lillian. Plenty of things seem to happen in this read over a time span 2006 to 2016 and the book was sort of mystery and family dynamics I felt. The annoymous letters the doubts in people's minds all made me think too. Poor Ned was he wrong at first when trying to solve the case? Just who or why the reasons behind it all and do some have more to hide and keep hidden than others in it all?
Kept me guessing.
