5.0 out of 5 stars Does the job with few resource overloads., 8 Nov. 2012

Updates the virus files regularly, does the job of keeping files checked. I like the on screen keyboard that can help you avoid keyloggers finding out your passwords. Good price too.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent product, 4 Jan. 2012
Got this for Christmas, and was a bit dubious at first, as the packaging for the light seemed to be something knocked up in a cheap workshop in that industrial power house that is China. The on/off switch for the rear section appeared also to be very small and fiddly, little more than a needle poking out from the bottom of the unit, and the outer part of the packaging seemed to just have reflective tape similar to duck tape stuck to it. It does keep the rear unit water tight.
However, I have used it on the back of a ruck sack, and adapted the unit to fit on the rear of my pannier rack [a couple of zip ties, some velcro to secure it to an appropriate length of plastic to fit through the belt loops], and it does work effectively, to the point when as I turned right in the dark this morning an approaching car almost came to a halt rather than overtake me. Was it alarm, shock or being startled and blinded by the lights? Who can say.
Haven't had it long enough to comment on battery life, but the front sender unit fits onto the crowded handle bars of my touring bike, and both units have survived a very rainy trip home this evening. Am going to fit it with rechargeable batteries once those supplied run out and see how long they work for.
All in all, could be a life saver, and worth the novelty value as well as the confidence boost they represent.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good story but the editor should be sacked, 19 Aug. 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I enjoyed this story for much of the time, but a few of the elements were worryingly grating: in both this and his second story, the plot elements are very similar: hero fights against over-whelming odds, gets injured, best friends are killed, Roman discipline, technology and tactical superiority save the day, hero gets drunk with mates and argues with Caesar who puts up with it.
But worst of all, the man who edits the story has not done a very good job. There were cases when the sentences did not make sense, where words were spelled incorrectly [ e.g. keep soldiers on a tight `reign' rather than `rein'] and some of the sentences were poorly constructed with repetition of words within them. A good editor should have spotted all these flaws.

I am no English teacher, but this is something I have rarely seen in published works, and would prefer not to.
