It's a cool game but it can sometimes get a bit repetitive and boring. And some of the expressions are really hard to guess. Still a classic though.

CHERUB: The Sleepwalker
CHERUB: The Sleepwalker
by Robert Muchamore
Edition: Paperback
Price: £7.88

4.0 out of 5 stars A little hint..., 20 April 2011
James is in trouble again on Cherub Campus. He's got to do work experience and he's hoping it's all to do with motorbikes. But it the opposite of what he wanted to and who he wanted to work with. He got a job at Chicken Deluxe, a fast food joint with Kerry a person he hated. Meanwhile a plane has crashed into the Atlantic leaving 345 people dead. A distressed boy rings the terrorist hotline. The fear in his voice must mean something but what? The boy's call is classed as a category grade 4 (Prank call). Mac's wife, daughter in law and grandchildren were among those who died in the plane crash. He's back at cherub going through the calls and comes across this one. Lauren and Jake have to work together on finding out if the boy's right. But there are two problems. Firstly the boy has a history of emotional problems and violence. Secondly, Jake and Lauren hate each other! However they approach the boy called Fahim and ask him if he thinks his dad is the person behind the crash and if they could set up a few listening bugs around his house after school when his dad is away. Unfortunately His dad Hassam Bin Hassam finds one and blames their cleaning lady for it and nearly kills him but Fahim tells him that it was him.
I enjoyed this book. However I do not think it's the best out of the series. I found the first one hundred and thirty pages a little bit boring but the rest was filled with action and thrill.
Read!!!

CHERUB: The Fall

Price: £6.99

5.0 out of 5 stars What I thought about this piece of excellence!!!, 20 April 2011
This review is from: CHERUB: The Fall (Paperback)
'The Fall' is another brilliant book in the CHERUB series by Robert Muchamore. This time, James Adams is in Russia, using all his skills to get out alive when an undercover mission he is working on goes disastrously wrong because bribed MIS agents kill the prime suspect. For a long time he is lost in Aero City but then a CSI agent finds him and lends him a phone. James then phones CHERUB campus and asks Ewart, a mission controller to pick him up. Unfortunately the Russian police is lead by Vladimir the chief of police who was the brother of the prime suspect. He sends a group of police officers to catch James. Ewart then gets a jet to escape along with a few other people. James faints on the jet and is rushed to a hospital. Meanwhile, his sister, Lauren is working on her first solo mission to attempt to uncover a human trafficking operation.
An amazing book. Well described like all the other books Robert Muchamore has written. Very gripping and exciting.

Man vs Beast (Cherub)
Man vs Beast (Cherub)
by Robert Muchamore
Edition: Paperback
Price: £6.99

5.0 out of 5 stars Short review/summary of this masterpiece, 20 April 2011
This review is from: Man vs Beast (Cherub) (Paperback)
Three agents James, Lauren and Kyle and a mission controller Zara go undercover as animal rights protesters in order to bust a series of terrorist groups: the AFA (Animal Freedom Army) and the AFM (Animal Freedom Militia) because many businesses have been sabotaged and were declared bankrupt because they supplied Malarek a company which does animal testing. Over the years animal liberationists have became a second page story so the AFA decide to kidnap a famous cook, Nick Cobb because he tested worktop cleaners on rabbits. Things go a little bit too far so James and Kyle decides to put a stop to it.
A very thrilling book really got my heart thumping. I did not expect any of this. A big surprise but overall a very gripping book as all the others in the series!

CHERUB 5: Divine Madness
CHERUB 5: Divine Madness
by Robert Muchamore
Edition: Paperback
Price: £6.99

5.0 out of 5 stars Very divine, 20 April 2011
When CHERUB discovers a link between terrorist group Help Earth and a wealthy religious cult called the Survivors, the authorities want to know more. James, Dana and Lauren go undercover inside the Ark (a big armed building), posing as the three children of a divorced parent played by an ASIS (Australian Secret Intelligence Service) agent named Abigail to help discover the truth behind the Survivors. During the mission Dana gets a chance to infiltrate Help Earth but she ends up on a boat in the middle of the ocean with three skilled people, two of them armed and one of them brainwashed, all ready to bomb an Ign oil tanker just off the coast of India.
I found this book very interesting. I never knew it is possible to brainwash a person without knowing that you're brainwashed yourself! Very well described. Recommend it to everybody over 11.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book, 20 April 2011
This review is from: CHERUB 4: The Killing (Paperback)
A small time crook manages to get his hands on a fortune. MI5 needs to know how. James goes undercover with Dave again to investigate a simple mission. The same routine: make friends find evidence and information and put the bad guy behind bars but it begins to turn more complicated when a trusted policeman turns out to be a criminal and a bully. He is a good friend of the head of police.
This was a great read, the author put the events together so well I thought it was true...until I reached the back cover! Makes me think "What's going to happen next?"

3.0 out of 5 stars The bad spies guide, a bad guide, 19 April 2011
This review is from: The Bad Spy's Guide (Paperback)
This book is about Tasha, a girl who is obsessed with spies and even thinks she is one herself. She tells us about one of her adventures when she was caught digging up the local dentists garden because she thought that his wife had been murdered and buried there. Everybody thinks that she is a big joke until one night she spots a boy outside her house hiding behind a tree writing things in his note pad, spying. She decides to observe his actions to see if what she's seeing is what it means. During hiding the boy has an accident and accidentally mixes his and hers note book. After returning home she realises what has happened and is surprised with the note book's contents. She secretly contacts him and arranges a meeting at her house to change back. This isn't enough for Tasha. She tries to figure out who he really is and finds out he's a boy called Henry, a teenage spy who was sent on a mission to capture an evil baddie - Mr Massingham. He says that he has been spying on the Baxters the co-workers of Mr Massingham and that her room is a perfect surveillance point. At first Tasha is excited and believes his every word but her doubts grow as time goes on. All her friends say it's a prank so she decides to find out for herself. She goes to the Baxter's and says that Mr Massingham was here and asked about them when they weren't at home, a total lie. The Baxters panic and try to warn off Tasha. She realises a grey Volvo is following her so she asks her best friend Julia to dress up as her and see if anything happens. This is a big mistake. Julia is kidnapped.
I do not recommend this book to anyone over 10.
I do recommend the CHERUB series!!! They are the best!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Just simply AMAZING, 2 Jan. 2011
This review is from: CHERUB: Class A (Paperback)
This is a very exciting book it pulls you in and you can't stop reading just like the first book (the recruit).
This book is about a boy called James who goes on his second cherub mission along with Kyle, Kerry and Nicole after tough 100 day training. Their mission is to inflirtate an ilegal company selling class A drugs ,but to get to the top James has to start at the bottom making small time deliveries in the neighbourhood. He is also to try to chum up with Keith Moor's son Keith junior. He is put under a lot of preassure and nearly get drawn in by drugs. This i one of the best books i've read along with the whole CHERUB series. It is very gripping i couldn't put it down until i've finished it. It is suitable for both girls and boys and i find the series extremly popular in my school especially in my class. It is because the characters are all a teenager would want to be. I recommed this to anyone over ten because it is THE book of all times!!!!!
