A mick's journey, 10 Aug. 2009
He lived in interesting times, met interesting people but he was no George Best. What he never explained or faced up was the irish catholic repression of sex, self expression and freedom controlled through a guilt complex. Using poetry as a vehicle is fine for those who can drive. His story was "slow" and cryptic for the non poetic many.
