5.0 out of 5 stars Possibly the best comic ever!, 21 Feb. 2011
Now if your just looking at this and having a browse at the reviews. Please don't think twice about buying it, just purchase it straight away. If I could give more than 5 stars for this I would. This isn't just a zombie story as you've probably heard before this is evidently based around the survival group's struggle to survive in this treachorous world, how they feel about it and how the characters are forced to bond with each other willingly to survive. After you've read it for a while you'll find out that it's not the zombies that you have to be scared of but the people around you. Which you will see in one of the major story arcs which is a turning point in this comic for character development.

Just buy it, it's the best thing to come out of comics in a long time and even if your not a comic fan just go ahead and buy.

Trust me' it'll be one of the best things you'll have ever read and you won't regret it. I hope this review helps you and persuades you into buying you because I hope you enjoy it as much as I did and as much as I still do now. There's much more to read out of this brilliant series. There are two hardcovers out continuing from this (those being Volume 5 and 6 and an upcoming volume 7).

So go on buy it, you know you want to. Go ahead you won't regret it

:D

Batman: Year One - Deluxe Edition
Batman: Year One - Deluxe Edition
by Frank Miller
Edition: Paperback

5.0 out of 5 stars Comissioner Gordon: Year One?, 10 Feb. 2011
This comic is brilliant. Frank Miller has pleased me once again...But it doesn't have the same feeling as The Dark Knight Returns. Where there was so much coming from the mind of Bruce Wayne. This though I find is more of a story of Commisioner Gordon. It even starts the story off with him and the appearance of Batman or Bruce Wayne is incredibly scarce. Overall though if your a general comic book fan by all means buy it. It's a fantastic story. But if your looking for a Batman story with loads of action and story through the mind of Batman this isn't it. This is Commisioner Gordons story and I think of it as Commisioner Gordon: Year One.

2.0 out of 5 stars A Cheap Version of the Detailed American One, 6 Oct. 2010
This box set in some way is a scam as your better off getting the American one. Reasons Why? The British is in a crappy little
Rectangular box and has the standard box sets which you would normally by on there own. The only two special things in there are the Senet Game and the secret disk which is in it's own case so it's not secret. The American one has a Pyramid shaped box in which is well detailed with icons on the side of the box, inside there is the box sets in special slipcase which fold out. There are also special pockets for where te senet game pieces are and a journal of the Black Rock. There is an island with the secret disk in, a light to find secrets in the box, The Senet Game itself and of course the Ankh. You can tell there's a better difference between the British one o the American one. Please your better off buying the American one from Amazon.com and believe it or not it is cheaper. Buy it I have so myself and it is brilliant.
