A little difficult to understand the maps but the information was clear enough. Able to appreciate this more after our visit.

5.0 out of 5 stars A very useful and interesting book - you can't put it down!, 10 May 2004
You are drawn to this book initially because of its appealing cover illustration. On delving deeper inside the pages you'll find some fantastic proverbs used by the French and their English equivalent. Not only is it essential reading for any French language student, but for the non-French speaker it also gives an insight into the way that a different language develops. Fun pictures accompany each proverb and also an contextual example of how each phrase is used.
Above all it's a fun book to browse through, which will be really useful for anyone studying the language.

4.0 out of 5 stars An excellent film with excellent music., 16 April 2000
This review is from: Trick Or Treat [DVD] (DVD)
It really is many years since I saw Trick or Treat, but I really can say, that once seen never forgotten. The plot is really easy to get into, but completely unrealistic! Then again aren't all horror films? There are plenty of tense scenes to ensure that the viewers are either on the edge of their seat (or hiding behind it!). As for all the nasty things those boys get up to in school, well, I'm just glad that my school was not like that! The music that accompanies the movie is excellently performed by Fastway. It adds depth to the movie and keeps you hanging on for the next musical interlude! The film is great, although a little dated now, but don't let that put you off. It is certainly worth viewing...again...and again.....and again.
