1.0 out of 5 stars high proportion fail within a month. Don't buy this brand, 5 Dec. 2014
Check out reviews for pack of 10. Easy to see why one would give 5 stars initially but you need to use them for a while before drawing any conclusions. High proportion fail within a month or two making these very expensive and defeats the object of switching to LED bulbs to save money, energy and maintenance time. Expected life of 50,000 hours is just a joke. Do not buy this brand. Hope people don't make the same mistake.

1.0 out of 5 stars does not work as a charging cable for ipad, 3 Dec. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Fits my ipad ok. Extra length is very useful and cable is thicker than original apple cable and seems quite robust. However, thats where the good points end. Cable is very slow charging. Managed to charge my ipad 1% in an hour so as a charging cable it is next to useless. Cant understand the many good reviews but there are also many bad reviews citing the same problem. Either there are several versions of this product or the quality control is non existent. Waste of money. Only buy if you like to gamble.

1.0 out of 5 stars Unreliable. Where did they get 50000 hours lamp life from?, 25 Nov. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
One of the bulbs failed within a month. 50000 hours life is a joke. As this was fulfilled by Amazon, they provided a refund for 1 bulb since it would have been totally impractical to return all 10 bulbs which had actually been put in use.....even though they (Amazon) were not the actual sellers. I can not praise Amazon enough for how they deal with such situations, always promptly and without drama.
As for the LED bulbs, provided they work and last as long as promised they are fine. Howeve, if the reliablility and quality is so poor, it really defeats the object of investing in expensive LEDs to save money. My experience with this and other GU10 LED bulbs I have used suggests that either the manufacturing process or the technology is just not reliable.
At the time of writing there were two other reviews here. One is a one star review with the same problem. The other is a five star review by someone who received a free pack and based on one day usage. Draw your own conclusions.
Whilst the theory is good, buying this product is just a complete gamble. Perhaps avoiding multipacks might help a little.

Update: another one bites the dust. At this rate all ten bulbs will have failed within six months. 50 odd quid down the drain. Don't buy this brand.

1.0 out of 5 stars Major Design Fault, 15 Nov. 2014
Good drill let down by major design fault. There are many reviews on here referring to what must be a design fault. Like others have said, the chuck keeps coming loose when drill switched on and off. Its down to the fierce braking and is more noticeable in the higher speed/hammer action. The drill bit keeps falling out and you need to tighten it after every couple of squeezes of the trigger. I had notice other reviews before I bought but thought I could live with it. Unfortunately, it becomes so frustrating and renders the drill useless except for slow speed screwdriving when the chuck loosening is less frequent.
The drill is otherwise very good. Its powerful enough and the power4all battery is useful and seems reliable. However, I would not buy this product again as the loosening chuck problem is just so very very very frustrating in use. Be warned

1.0 out of 5 stars Cheap for a reason, 4 Sept. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Very poor quality. I didn't think it was possible to make a spray lance which just doesn't work. Despite pumping up my sprayer bottle as much as possible and confirming there was plenty of pressure, I only got a tiny trickle from the spray lance. Loosening the spray tip only produced an uncontrollable dribble. Product is not fit for purpose.

1.0 out of 5 stars Peel but doesn't seal, 4 Sept. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Title says it all. Envelopes ok but either this is extremely old stock or very poor manufacturing quality. There is a strip you peel off but this reveals a thin layer of glue which just does not stick. This makes it worst than a normal gummed envelope as you have to stick the flap down with glue or sellotape. Absolute rubbish and false economy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best value mini torch, 8 Dec. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Amazingly bright for its size. The Cree Q5 chip is excellent and at this price its a no brainer. Build quality is exceptional. Its quite heavy for its size and seems well pu together. Although not as well engineered as some well known premium brands but in terms of light output, its miles better than some costing more than twice as much. Both spot and flood beams are good. Although you can see the shape of the Q5 chip on the extreme spot setting as mentioned in other reviews, it really is not a problem and does not adversely affect the all important light output. The flood beam is very good and overall, for its size, price and the fact it uses just one AA battery, there is no better torch. Not sure of its longevity, but after playing with it for a week, no problems so far. Great to play around with, stills feels solid and with intermittent use, battery is still performing like new. Truly a practical torch to have in the car, your pocket, etc and not just a keyring novelty. Will consider a Cree XML T6 type torch next as these are even better than the Cree Q5 chip and still very reasonably priced.
I also purchased several more expensive LED Lenser torches and other LED torches of varying sizes, so this review is based on my experience of a number of different torches.

2.0 out of 5 stars Overrated, overpriced., 5 Dec. 2012
Have bought a variety of torches, from bulky krypton bulb/LED lanterns and 2million candle power halogen spotlghts to cheap mini LED torches and a selection of more expensive LED Lenser torches.
Cant fathom out how you can compare torches on paper. Torches quoted as producing 13 lumens to 1800 lumens ( some cheap ones with 1800 lumens and some expensive ones with only 200 lumens) seem to have no real relation to the actual 'perceived' brightness. What you seem to be paying for is build quality and perhaps improved 'burn time'.
There is no denying that the LED Lenser P7 is a well made torch. Good materials and engineering, but I can't understand all these five star reviews with people really raving about the performance. Bought a LED Lenser K3, a P3 and a P7 on the strength of the reviews. Compared the light output of the LED Lensers and was very disapponted considering their premium prices. The P7 is a nice quality torch. the light is good and the quoted burn time is unbelievable using only four AAA batteries. The spot and flood beams are good and well defined but the overall brightness is not as good as a CREE LED torch costing one fifth of the price. For the price paid, I expected a lot more from the P7. It is outshoned (intended) by torches costing a fraction of the price. Nice torch to have and looks as if it will last., but as my main reason for buying a torch is for its lighting ability, I can only give the P7 two stars. It really depends on what features you deem important. You pays your money, you takes your choice. I for one think the LED Lenser is much overrated and very overpriced.

3.0 out of 5 stars Disapponting and overpriced, 5 Dec. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Received gift boxed version. Could be regarded as unexpected bonus but I assume the torch itself is the same in the 'test it pack'. It is actually a P3BM which, according to the manufacturer website, is the lowest spec of three LED Lenser P3 ( others are P3AFS and P3AFS P, both much higher lumen models). I guess the BM stands for Blue Moon, which is the effect of the spot focus beam- a round white spot with a thin blue outer ring. Not much difference between spot and flood beam angles.
Whilst the brightness is acceptable for such a tiny torch, it is not particularly bright and in this respect, very disappointing. Very similar performance to the K3 which is stubbier and is slightly cheaper but there are other brand torches which are brighter and also much cheaper. LED Lenser is a premium brand and build quality is very good as is the quoted burn times. However, my main reason for buying a torch is for the light output and in this respect, the LED Lenser is disapponting and overpriced.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good but overpriced, 5 Dec. 2012

This is very small and well made. If you prize build quality above all else, this is the torch to have. However, I thought it's performance was very disappointing. For such a small torch, the light output is quite good but only for occasional use on your keyring. There are much cheaper mini LED torches which are brighter. I can't comment on on the burn time but the manufacturer literature suggests that batteries last longer than cheaper versions. Spot beam has the blue moon effect and reasonably bright and uniform. Wide beam is not really any wider, just seems more washed out.
Bought this K3 and a P3. Comparable performance with P3 slightly better but slightly more expensive. Also bought LED Lenser P7 and overall, the brand is very good quality, acceptable performance but vastly overpriced. I bought other much cheaper CREE Q5 LED torches which are much brighter.
