4.0 out of 5 stars Great programme but get an atlas..., 14 Jun. 2014
Wonderful show and recipes, but doesn't go near the Far East = China, Japan, Korea. Takes quite a stretch to say Bangladesh is in the Far East.

Nice toaster - looks good on counter top and fits all types of bread. Good price but power cord way too short - I'll need a 1 metre extension cable

3.0 out of 5 stars Standard size UK business cards don't fit, 8 Feb. 2013

Only for smaller sized German business cards or similar...which are a few mm shorter than UK ones. I had to trim all mine to fit them in.

3.0 out of 5 stars Beware, 20 Sept. 2008

This review is from: The History Book (Hardcover)
Customers who buy this book should not also buy Security Breach - it's the same book, different title. Otherwise, a good read.

2.0 out of 5 stars light entertainment, 27 Dec. 2004
An easy holiday read, but not very deep. Thin, sterotypical characters, conspiracy theory plot borrowed from others, easy to solve clues to make the reader feel clever. Some basic errors / plot weaknesses:
- if only INTERPOL were the efficient organisation Brown thinks it is
- why on earth would the French Judicial Police have a whole Department of Crytology. More likely an electronic crime section (hackers etc)
- Versailles is not North-west of Paris
- not all Englishmen drive Jaguars (a mistake others like Tom Clancy frequently make)
- St James's Park does not afford great views of the Palace of Westminster and Big Ben - too many buildings are in the way.
Nit picking, I know, but irritating when reading a book styled as "faction"
