2.0 out of 5 stars Cliché, with mediocre animation, 11 Feb. 2014
If you know anything about the 40K universe, then the story to this movie will strike you as being simply 'out-of-the-box'. There's nothing to really help it stand out as an exciting and unique plot. The animation is about average, with the scenery and back ground feeling rather scarce. The Marines movements might be somewhat more fluid than 40K fans would imagine, but the fight scenes are fairly good. The voice acting is about all that saves this film from being utterly boring.

A Thousand Sons (The Horus Heresy)
A Thousand Sons (The Horus Heresy)
by Graham McNeill
Edition: Paperback

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible, 11 Feb. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Graham McNeill is one of my favourite authors, and this is easily one of his best books. Read alongside Dan Abnett's "Prospero Burns", the storyline is tense, emotional and (especially at the end) action-packed.
