DJI PHANTOM 2 LiPo Battery 11.1V 5200mAh Original
DJI PHANTOM 2 LiPo Battery 11.1V 5200mAh Original

1.0 out of 5 stars buyer beware - mis described by Amazon, 30 May 2016
beware - bought this for a DJI Phantom 2. Just tried to use it for the first time and it is NOT for a Phantom 2 but a Phantom 2 vision. It is not compatible at all with the Phantom 2 at all. I'm not eligible for a refund as it is now past the date allowed by Amazon.

5.0 out of 5 stars Runrig back in the studio and on great form, 18 Nov. 2015
This review is from: The Story (MP3 Download)
classic Runrig, but with a fresh modern twist, great production from Brian Hurren and even the Prague Philharmonic performing on this. A fitting title track for what they have said will be their final studio album released in their 43rd year. The video is a great complement to the single. These guys have been a constant accompaniment to my life since I first heard them when I was 16. Their output may be more infrequent these days but when the quality is as good as this we can't complain.

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointingly fragile, 30 Jan. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
this was a great phone, an excellent camera, battery life that saw it last close to 2 days in normal use. But then the screen shattered while it was in a map pocket on my trouser leg and I was sitting on a sofa. It was totally unusable and Sony refuse to honour the warranty as the screen could not possibly have broken as I describe.

Sony phones have a well known problem with screens shattering, BBC watchdog investigated and found the problem is widespread. The Z2 and Z3 apparently have the same issues. Shame as the phone was close to the perfect smartphone in every other respect. Avoid Sony Xperia unless you plan to buy a new phone every few months.

Blossom: What Scotland Needs to Flourish (Viewpoints)
Blossom: What Scotland Needs to Flourish (Viewpoints)
by Lesley Riddoch

5.0 out of 5 stars Lesley Riddoch hits the nail on the head, 3 Nov. 2013
Lesley Riddoch has consistently been a voice of common sense and reason throughout the referendum debate so far and she continues in that vein in this fine book. She tackles a massively varied and complex subject in a remarkably easy to read way. It is witty, engaging, upsetting, fascinating and so much more. Every Scot should read this in the run up to next year's referendum and then ask themselves whether they are content with the state of affairs so forensically analysed by Riddoch, then when considering how to vote they should consider which of the two choices offers up the best prospects for addressing these problems.

A fascinating read and highly recommended.

2.0 out of 5 stars Poorly made and falls apart in use, 20 Aug. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The tablet holder was difficutl to fit to the telescopic arm (the slots for it were too small). When I did manage to force it on it looked good but the first time I used it to hold the tablet in our camper van, the holder fell off and it and the tablet hit the floor. Not recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very impressive debut, 17 July 2011
I bought this album purely in the basis of Brian's membership of Runrig and I can honestly say I am delighted with the purchase.

Having followed Runrig for over 25 years now I have seen and heard the changes in their line up. When Brian Hurren joined a few years back I had assumed he was "just another" keyboard player. Latterly Runrig fans have been given glimpses of his vocal talents and now with this debut album we get to hear everything that this talented young musician has to offer.

One of the joys of Runrig's music is that every song tells a story, and this album does the very same thing. There is a great variety on this album. Some appeal (to me) more than others but there is not one that I find I skip past on the CD player. There's not many CDs that you can say that about these days.

Buy it, you will not be disappointed. There are also now tasters available on his web site and on youtube if you want to listen before you buy.

1.0 out of 5 stars worst phone I have ever owned, 23 May 2009
I took out a business account with Vodafone in December 08 and was persuaded by the Vodafone staff that the storm was vastloy superior to a "traditional" blackberry. Unfortunately it has turned out to be the worst decision I could have made. As others have pointed out the device has dreadful battery life (customer services confirmed I shouldn't expect to get a whole day's use out of it). Over a 4 hour period with no use at all it lost over 60% of it's charge. Even though I live close to a Vodafone mast the signal varies wildly, moving between full strength 3G to SOS calls only. As a result it's a lottery whether or not I can complete calls. They fail on an apparently random basis leaving me looking at a screen that says I no longer have network coverage, even though I've not moved!

As others have said new firmware has made it less sluggish so it does now respond reasonably quickly to key presses. I actually prefer the touch and click of the Storm to the Iphone's keyboard, but both are fairly infuriating to use. More often than not my emails end up looking like some strange language. You also need to reboot daily by pulling out the battery pull to cure the problems caused by memory leak.

The battery life, regular freezing and dropped calls mean that I cannot say anything other than avoid this like the plague. It does look nice so if looks are all that matter, please go ahead. If you want to use even its most basic functiosn such as calls and emails then look elsewhere.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beat the Drum at Loch Ness, 13 May 2008
An amazing memento of an unforgettable day when 18,000 people stood in the mud and lashing rain for upwards of 10 hours to see Runrig on the shores of Loch Ness. The dvD captures it perfectly, though understandably focussing mainly on the newer songs (long standing fans will already have the older stuff they played on DVD already). Having been there in the mud and the glaur I'm amazed they managed to capture as much footage as they did - though I gather there were problems with a number of cameras and mics that were so waterlogged they couldn't use much of the material. This doesn't show on the final production which also uses footage and photos sent in by fans and has been intermixed cleverly with the 'official'footage so you really get a sense of being there in the crowd.

The only thing you could add for the authentic concert feel would be to stand in a bucket of cold mud and get someone to hose you down with ice cold water. Highly reccomended.
