1.0 out of 5 stars Did Atari Rush This To Cash In On The Wtcc, 4 April 2009
This review is from: Race Pro (Xbox 360) (Video Game)
As a big fan of motor racing i couldn't wait to get this game, but what a big mistake this was the game had no real depth into the game play and the less said about the graphics the better. The cars handle like a shopping trolley
Don't Buy this Get the Grid or Forza Motorsport instead much much better and then maybe with luck somebody else could make a WTCC game(with hope not ATARI) next year or Codemasters might make another Toca race driver game

5.0 out of 5 stars EXCELLENT GAME, 8 Dec. 2007
This review is from: The Bigs (Wii) (Video Game)
I brought this game when it first came out and at first found it hard but very absorbing, but once I got into it found it to probable the best baseball game I've played. The graphics are very good and the gameplay is brilliant as you can also field and control the runners as well as the pitching and hitting. It's fully licenced which makes a change for a baseball game. Overall I love this game alot more than wii sports as it has more depth and obviously realistic.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Yet, 27 Jan. 2006
This review is from: In Your Honour (Audio CD)
A double album one rock, one acoustic creates the best one yet but only just. The rock side is amazing No Way Back, D.O.A., Best Of You and The Last Song are probably the best songs the foo's have done. In Your Honour (the song) is an epic of an opener and End Over End is a terrific album closer to settle all things rocking. The acoustic side however for me is boring with only Razor, What If I Do and Cold Day In The Sun being the only songs I can listen to without yawning but if your into acoustic songs you should find it good enough. I only wish they took the aformetioned acoustic song and put them on 1 disc and it could have been an classic. I fought about giving this review 4 stars but the rocking side is just so good it makes it 5 stars. I truly think this is the best album they've done & worthy to be in anyones cd racks.

4.0 out of 5 stars Back To Rock But Something Ain't Right, 27 Jan. 2006
This review is from: One By One (Audio CD)
When I first heard this it became my favourite, why? Because it rocks alot more than it's previous effort but after a couple more listens something clicks and it's not the songs. All My Life is the best open the foo's had done till then and the next 4 songs are brilliant. The some reason the second half of the album seems rushed with only Overdrive and Come Back being the songs that foo fans love to hear. Times Like These would have been a classic if it was released in the age of power ballads and Low has the best drumming from Taylor yet proving why he's worthy of the foo's. A great album but just wished they could've made more in your face and the longievity would have been alot long.

4.0 out of 5 stars Mellower But Still Packs A Punch, 27 Jan. 2006
Foo's have mellowed but they still rock above others. Stacked Actors is an excellent opener & become an instant classic & that's before Breakout and Learn To Fly follow in quick succession. I always liked the faster & more screaming songs then slow one's but I still sing-a-long to this album often even if their is only 1 or 2 shout-a-long songs for me to enjoy. The foo's did themselves proud with this one and even convinced the festival crowds to joyful rock & mellow songs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Follow Up, 27 Jan. 2006
The production is alot better and the songs are just as excellent. The pure bliss of songs like Monkey Wrench, Everlong and Up In Arms raises the bar for others to follow. This album made me a dedicated follower to the foo's as the songs are brilliantly diverse. You have ballads (Everlong, Feburary Stars), Singalong (My Hero, Monkey Wrench) and screaming rock numbers (My Poor Brain, Enough Space). All in all a fantastic album album pushing the foo's to bigger and better things.

5.0 out of 5 stars Scortcher Of A Debut, 27 Jan. 2006
This review is from: Foo Fighters (Audio CD)
When I first heard this album I fell in love with it, from the first 2 immediate impact of This Is A Call & I'll Stick Around to the last strains of Exhausted we have Jazz, Punk and Garage rock tracks all over the place. O.k. the production isn't great but originally it's was a batch of demos but to me this only adds to the feel of this fantastic album.

5.0 out of 5 stars OVERLOOKED CLASSIC, 11 May 2005
This review is from: Longest Line (Audio CD)
O.k. so they are very politcal but every band are allowed to do a song which they can laugh at. Yes 'Stranded' and 'Death of John Smith' are fantastic but I totally love 'Kill All The White Man' such a fun song and one of my all time favourite punk / ska songs. These are one of the few bands around now that are brilliant all the time. Get this and 'Punk In Drublic' and thank yourself latter.

5.0 out of 5 stars OVERLOOKED MASTERPIECE, 11 Feb. 2004
This review is from: Regular Urban Survivors (Audio CD)
I think this is one overlooked album all because of it's a follow up to another masterpiece (How To Make Friends...). Excellent cover, fantastic songs and great production. Songs like Dog Chewed The Handle, Easy Bad Actress and If I Was You make it worthwhile for the price alone. Get this album and ignore the dreadful Shaving Peaches album.
