5.0 out of 5 stars Treblinka, 5 Aug. 2013
A straight forward tale written in simples terms of one mans survival in one of the lesser known Death Camps.
My some miracle this man survived to the end of the war, and his story derserves reading. Highly recommended.

The Web (A Hamlyn original)
The Web (A Hamlyn original)
by Richard Lewis
Edition: Paperback

3.0 out of 5 stars More Spiders, 5 Aug. 2013
A direct sequel to Spiders, this continues the story up North where the last few mutants made there escape.
Written in a pulp horror style, the story zips along and blood and guts a plenty.
If you can pick this up second hand its well worth a read.

This is the first book I have read my P.J Tracy, and I really enjoyed it. Two story lines running alongside each eventually join up as the bodies pile up. Looking forward to reading her next novel

Hell Candidate
Hell Candidate
by Graham Masterton
Edition: Hardcover

3.0 out of 5 stars Dated but fun, 21 Jun. 2013
This review is from: Hell Candidate (Hardcover)
The time is 1980 and a Republican Senator is seeking the nomination from his party to become President. No-one gives him a chance, until his campaign visits an old mansion in New England, where he makes a deal that will change everything...
This was written by Graham Masterton, using the name Thomas Luke and whilst it has dated badly, being set in the world of the Cold War, it remains an excellent fast paced horror novel.

5.0 out of 5 stars More from those rats, 24 Jan. 2013
This review is from: Lair (Paperback)
Second of the Rats trilogy, this takes place a few years after the first attacks in London. The survivors have made their way east to the green Epping Forest and having regained their strengh and numbers are ready to taste human flesh again.
A superb sequel, this carrys on in much the same vein, with some excellent rat attack scenes. An easy very absorbing read in the horror genre. Not for the faint hearted.

To Kill A Mockingbird: 50th Anniversary Edition
To Kill A Mockingbird: 50th Anniversary Edition
by Harper Lee
Edition: Paperback
Price: £4.89

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful read, 15 Jan. 2013
This has always been one of my favourite films, and I always wanted to read the book. I have now finally got around to it, and it doesnt disappoint. It bring 1930's American South to life and you can just imagine being there with the images that Harper Lee describes. A shame this was her only book.

Blood Games
Blood Games
by Richard Laymon
Edition: Paperback
Price: £8.99

5.0 out of 5 stars Wilderness Blood and Guts, 26 Nov. 2012
This review is from: Blood Games (Paperback)
A group of friends meet up for their annual reunion in a supposed haunted hunting lodge, when they meet one of the locals..
This is a typical very fast paced story from Laymon. Lots of sex and violence with some very likeable charactors. Highly recommended.

Kill Whitey
Kill Whitey
by Brian Keene
Edition: Paperback
Price: £6.66

4.0 out of 5 stars A great read, 28 Sept. 2012
This review is from: Kill Whitey (Paperback)
I must admit I am fast becoming a big fan of Keene. He never disappoints with his story or gore, and this one is a real rollercoaster from the start to finish. Highly recommended.

The Cage
The Cage
by Brian Keene
Edition: Paperback
Price: £6.66

5.0 out of 5 stars Last one out, 26 Aug. 2012
This review is from: The Cage (Paperback)
This is quite a short story, but very enjoyable all the same, also included are three other short stories. Not as bloodthirsty as some of his other books, this is highly enjoyable and zips along as a fast pace. The other reviewer has covered the story all I can do is highly recommend this to all readers.
