5.0 out of 5 stars Our favourite cook book, 14 Feb. 2016
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is our "page-stuck-together" cookbook. We're using it so often for roasts (timings/weight) and all other matters of meat. Some of our families staple dishes, treats and comfort food have their origins here: Banger's and mash with red-wine sauce, vietnamese burgers, duck breast with plum sauce, pheasants with grape and walnuts... it goes on an on. We never had a recipe out of this book that didn't work for us. Our favourite cook book.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is my favourite kitchen toy, 14 Feb. 2016
This is my favourite kitchen toy! Small enough to have out on the counter and easy to clean. It's a fab little chopper... Onions, garlic, dried chilli, herbs, nuts, veg and fruit. If you just need small quantities finely chopped, look no further. We also have a Bamix liquidiser with a chop-tool, but the Cuisinart comes out on top every time.

5.0 out of 5 stars It simply worked, 23 Nov. 2009
Used this on a holiday to Thailand recently - took a few different bottles of repellants (to make use of little bits of leftovers of the year). Used a natural repellant which didn't work at all, some other common market brands, which did (because they contained some DEET), but this one was by far the most effective one! It does mildly corrode plastic surfaces (no friend of nail polish), but it doesn't change the state of any natural fibers (cotton, linen, leather).

5.0 out of 5 stars Wouldn't take anything else, 23 Nov. 2009
Recently taken this on holidays to Thailand and vote it the most effective sun protection you can get your mitts on! Used it for the duration of our stay, ran out of it on the last three days and used a conventional sun-screen just as if it was Riemann's ... and burnt! This does protect really well, even if you're in and out of the water, but do pay attention to apply it wherever the sun may hit you.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not enough, 23 Nov. 2009
Recently went on holidays in South-East Asia. Took a mix of Mosquito repellents along, one of which was this product and it proved to be the least effective in repelling Mosquitos. The good thing about it is the smell, where some of the other products are quite off-putting, this one smells quite fresh, like a lemon-eucalyptus mixture, but I still got bitten to bits, whereas that didn't happen with the high-DEET-concentrate products out there.
