Small and easy to add to the bike - but unfortunately I found them to be unreliable ... sometimes just not coming on, and very easily lost.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hugely talented acoustic guitar instrumentals, 14 May 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Little Martha [VINYL] (Vinyl)
This is a solo instrumental LP from David Tattershall - guitarist and lead vocalist in the The Wave Pictures.

The album is a tribute to the American guitarist John Fahey and was recorded in a single day using just one microphone.

It is a beautiful recording.

I would recommend it to anyone who loves the sound of an acoustic guitar.

5.0 out of 5 stars Feelgood ... feel very good ..., 1 Oct. 2009
This review is from: Sunny Side Up (Audio CD)
Love it - Paolo delivers it with soul and passion, it would have been so easy to bash out another album like the first, but he has put out an original mix of great tunes that just gets better every time you hear it.

Definitely one of the albums of the year.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful Album - Mellow Songwriting of Highest Quality, 24 Sept. 2008
This review is from: Oh Mighty Engine (Audio CD)
If there were any justice in the world sales of this album would be up there with Damien Rice ... etc.

If you like acoustic guitar, mellow tracks and great personal songwriting this is for you - I went to see him live a few days ago without knowing who he was or anything about his music, just thought it might be ok ... well - it was more than ok, it was fantastic !

5.0 out of 5 stars This album is a blissful chilled out joy, 8 Aug. 2008
This review is from: Thing Of The Past (Audio CD)
I realised that this album was so good when a couple of the tracks made a quiet and unassumming ascent to the top of the 'most played' list on my mp3 player.

This music chills you out and sends your mind drifting - the vocals are blissful.

Every time I get in the car with my 2 year old daughter and her older brothers (6 and 9) I am easily persuaded into repeatedly playing 'The Swimming Song' - so there is something here for everyone!

I saw Vetiver recently in Nottingham at The Bodega Social - there was about 50 in the audience but it was easily the gig of the year.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic music - adds significantly to the film, 29 Jun. 2005
This review is from: Cold Mountain (Audio CD)
This is a varied mix of mountain music - all of which are of the highest quality. Jack White (Stripes) adds an interesting dimension and does a great job, I particularly like the Riley Baugus/Tim Eriksen tracks but all are great ... if you liked the film you will love this cd.
