5.0 out of 5 stars Stripped Completely, 30 Oct. 2002
This review is from: Stripped (Audio CD)
Christina has gone back to her roots to bring forth this very ecclectic album, there is a real influence of jazz, soul and the blues. The album has been stripped completely of any generic pop tracks, what is left is a compilation of songs that prove Christina has evolved considerably as an artist. She has produced an album that tells a story, and allows us, the listener to be a part of her story. Buy it and see.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant, 12 Oct. 2001
I have only been vegetarian for a little while, but when I found this book I was glad I was! For carnivores and veggies alike this book is filled with wonderfully easy recipes that taste like heaven, the pictures do no justice and even they look mouthwatering. I highly recommend this book. Happy Cooking.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Amazing Thought Provoking Film, 1 Sept. 2001
This review is from: Pay It Forward [DVD] [2000] (DVD)
After a recommendation from a friend I decided to watch this movie, and what a recommendation!! The film takes an amazingly simple and selfless concept (much avoided in todays insular society) and reaches 'forward' to others in order to repay a deed of kindness. We could learn much by Trevor's concept, and the films abilty to weave the intrinsic relationships between the main characters only goes to show that we are all only three people away from creating a better society. Watch it if you dare...if you dare to be a better person.

4.0 out of 5 stars Scarpetta on form as usual, 25 Nov. 1999
This review is from: Black Notice (Audio Cassette)
It amazes me how such stories can be continued, but Cornwell has managed it yet again. This book takes Scarpetta internationally and to depths previously unknown emotionally. It blends ingenuity and incredulity superflously and makes for a good read. I did think however that it does not supercede the inventiveness of 'Point of Origin' but remains enjoyable in its own right. The cross over with the Southern Cross makes for problematic changing of Police Chiefs, but it all works eventually. This book has left Cornwell wide open to create many more, how much more alcohol and cigarettes can Marinos body really take? Who knows! Happy Reading
