3.0 out of 5 stars
WiFi connection is very flaky, 20 Feb. 2014
Overall a good TV: good picture straight out the box, Freeview reception from my loft aerial excellent, range of apps quite good (Spotify, Netflix, Blinkbox, YouTube, TuneIn Radio, iPlayer, etc.). I would have given it four (or even five stars), but for the poor WiFi performance. Admittedly, it is some distance form my router, but I have a Chromecast dongle in the back and that connects every time and streams with very few (if any) drop outs, whereas the Samsung SMART TV is to which it is attached is CONSTANTLY dropping of my network. Grrr!!
Note that there's no way of playing Ultraviolet movies (as far as I can tell), because you can't download the Flixster app. from the Samsung store (and no iTunes of course, but that's only to be expected for a non-Apple device).
Others have noted the thin sound (inevitable in small, slim TV) but as I use external speakers this isn't a problem.
The other thing that I have rated it down for is that Skype etc. ONLY works with Samsung's own webcam, which is about £70. So, no prospect of using tha £10 webcam you have lying around. But owing to the unstable WiFi connection it probably couldn't hold out for a Skype videocall anyway.
