very nice book, the same author also wrote 'mastering german 2' so it has the same layout.

good book. assumes you already know some german. the passages have no translation into english, but there is a full answer key to the exercises which are based on comprehension of the passages taken from contemporary (non fiction) german and classic literature.
BTW this is not the book by anthony peck (which has the same title)

1970 A level maths. (Volume 1 of 2), 19 Feb. 2016
the first 200 pages (chapters 1 19) covers precalculus, then the next 54 pages (chapters 20 27) covers basic calculus. 290 total pages (27 chapters).
you need at least AS level ability, if you want to read this book. both books have the exact same cover design but different color schemes. (vol 1 light blue and light green) (vol 2 dark green and dark blue)

this book is excellent. in one volume you have the complete AS level mathematics. (pure maths1+2, and mechanics1, statistics1) it is not realistic to jump from O to A level. if you truly understand all the topics in this book you will have a handsome amount of maths. and will be in a position to gain the full A level later. i must state A level maths means different things. but the core is C1 to C4.

very good book if you already know the topics. i would read this this in 3 stages. 1 all pre calculus topics. 2 then calculus. 3 then coordinate geometry. (it's important to know you don't need to follow the chapters in sequence)

post A level mathematics textbook. 1970 edition., 18 Jan. 2016
recommended in the 'The Mathematical Olympiad Handbook' (ISBN13: 9780198501053) page 41. you will frankly need all your A level skills, it's that hard (or good).
