5.0 out of 5 stars Cracking read, 19 May 2013

This review is from: Planet Ponzi (Paperback)
Mitch Feierstein has written an excellent book on Wall Street financial capital Ponzi mega fraud and catastrophic Planet Ponzi economics. The book has the right balance of technical detail and as well as being highly readable. It is witty and very entertaining and lots of clear explanations. Mitch Feierstein concludes that Ponzi economics and Ponzi banking will self-destruct as it can’t be patched up, and it shouldn’t have been attempted, as it just prolongs the agony. Mitch is a little soft on Britain (Mitch must have some close friends in Britain that he does not want to see get too upset). No need to worry about us Mitch we already know the UK economy is ‘Going South’! A truly excellent book. Bargain price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, 25 Feb. 2011
A superb analysis of the sheer stupidity of US and UK misallocation of investment capital, (for example) in sectors such as ludicrously overpriced Housing, the borrow to consume House of Cards economy, in contrast to other countries that have wisely invested in factories and productive businesses that generate monthly incomes for people. Points out the uselessness of the misdirected (military) spending and stupid military adventure of the US and UK. A very good outline of the World economy as it is now and where it could be headed. The book also points out that the present economic and political structures in Western Europe and the US will not meet the challenges of ageing population, the Black Holes in pension funds and continuation of non-productive economies. Reading between the lines I would say the author questions the wisdom of certain countries even attempting to exist and compete in the same Trading Arena as China. Excellent Book.

The Trillion Dollar Meltdown: Easy Money, High Rollers and the Great Credit Crash
by Morris
Edition: Paperback

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb, I couldn't put it down., 25 Oct. 2009
Charles Morris certainly knows what he is talking about. A superb book that makes crystal clear exactly how unregulated markets can and will go catastrophically wrong. He should be appointed Chancellor of the Exchequer and given a Knighthood.
