This must be one of the weakest Vertigo albums. Essentially a half hour plus selection of fragments of blues jams, amateurishly played and indifferently produced. Ok it's not that bad, and they are just youngsters but it's nothing more than a curio. Kudos as ever to Esoteric though, it's a well done reissue nonetheless, great sound, and the best part of the album, the sleeve, is there in all its glory.

Unhurried tempos, rich and imaginative instrumentation, melodies you'll have buried in your head, expertly rendered and beautifully recorded. This wonderful band should be better known. This album might be the best place to start with them I think, but you'll be wanting the lot!

The music? Cool, refreshing and unusual, like the soup. The vinyl and sleeve set the bar. Fantastic!

Superb. Really gets the muck out the grooves, and seriously improves new vinyl by getting the static off

3.0 out of 5 stars Great music, but I don't think it's from the master tapes, 9 Oct. 2015

The music is great, but as far as I can tell this is mastered from vinyl- a good copy, but there are pops and clicks, and my original vinyl doesn't have those!

poor acting, inconsistent, bad sets, cheap lighting, and at 80 minutes it's 79 minutes too long

Superb prog. The emphasis is away from the guitar to the two keyboard players. The compositions are fascinating and varied with intriguing arrangements. A good singer too. Those more familiar with UK prog will find comparisons in the Gentle Giant level of complexity and variety of tonality. There is no bluesy American influence here, no Hendrix licks, rather a strong classical and theatrical, even soundtrack element
