3.0 out of 5 stars Ragnor has lost the plot...., 7 Jun. 2016
Ragnor after getting into Paris has become obsessed with getting back there again this time to conquer. He's unfortunately being doped up to the eyeballs by his oriental nymph and while there are some great ideas in this it really does leave you with the thought of why bother? After all the English are all fighting amongst themselves and a huge viking fleet would surely eliminate everyone in sight. There's a bit I really can't get my head round, where Episode 10 of season 4 seems potentially to be Episode 1 of season 10. You'll understand when you watch it and wonder what we missed in seasons 5,6,7,8 and 9.

1.0 out of 5 stars Pretentious Drivel...fast forward...slow motion...fast forward...end, 13 Jan. 2015
It's an art house film therefore will appeal to people who will watch paint drying as it evokes some inspired outlook on life. It's been done before but rarely so badly. There's no acting, long mournful looks, weird visuals and sounds, Scarlet naked/in underwear/without her skin and someone on a motorcycle riding in the distance.

It's made to make you think.

...and it does, you'll think why?

Wait till it's 1p then you'll only be wasting your time watching it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Delicious Scarlet has super brain and no common sense, 18 Nov. 2014
This review is from: Lucy [DVD] [2014] (DVD)
There are two fantastic ideas to this plot, the first is that a drug (a bit like Limitless) can enhance the mind beyond its normal abilities. The second is the casting of Scarlet Johansson who plays a very believeable victim and subsequent hero. There are some great bits to this like the policeman standing alone and all those around him fall to the floor.

She is apparently the most intelligent person ever and manipulate other people, electrics, time, space, etc... pretty much do anything as her powers grow. The problem is she isn't as clever as you or I....

(SPOILER?)
....Faced with an uncompromising vicious psychopathic murdering drug lord and swiftly killing his body guards (very cool it was too), she then doesn't kill him. There is no sensible reason for this and it doesn't take a genius to know he isn't just going to accept his losses and move on. Similarly his cohorts find it very easy to keep popping up again and again in the film when there are many many opportunities to end their pursuit in any number of hilarious or messy ways

...Because of this it means the main draw is its just your run of the mill film. It has a great concept with some very good bits to it, but could've been so much better if they hadn't been so intent on following your standard script lines and aiming for the finally it did....which sadly just became too surreal....

5.0 out of 5 stars I love it, 27 April 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is a great weight gain, simple to mix and tastes nice too. Thicker than their other options giving you the feel of actually weight/muscle gains.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not bad but like drinking sand, 27 April 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Energy levels are good on this but it mixes terribly, I've tried every method including blending it and leaving it to stand but unless you're wanting to sieve it, then its the closest thing to drinking fruit flavoured sand.

1.0 out of 5 stars I know why he was assasinated - to end the film sooner, 3 Mar. 2013
This review is from: Lincoln [DVD] (DVD)
Dull, boring and painful film.

The one star goes to DDL for looking very much like Lincoln. But god was he a very very dull man. I have all the love of history and enthrauled by the American civil war and freeing slaves, but this is done with the most tedious waffling with a complete lack of any drama or direction. It could have been much much shorter and colour and feeling built with properly featuring some of the Civil war and Slaves.

Even the plot has someone complaining about his aweful waffling stories. At best its a film for americans to be proud of a man who achieved great things. For the rest its a terribly long and dreadful film where you'll be thankful that he was assasinated and didn't live another 10 years to extend this film any further.

People walked out in the cinema, they didn't miss anything, if you buy this at least you will be able to fast forward.

4.0 out of 5 stars Couldn't wait 4 weeks for it to arrive, 12 Jan. 2007
Right so it appears to take the stance that the US & co can't find Bin Laden due to a lack of intelligence. So its now up to you to find him and a variety of cartoon cia agents, well known faces and strange goings on.

Basically its good for the effect, the cover along would make anyone chuckle and the puzzles inside have the chance to find Bin Laden as well as the likes of Jamie Oliver cooking Nigella Lawson. I was intrigued as to whether this could upset anyone and other than Mr Bin Laden not getting any money for using his name, the US for being mocked for not finding him or the people of amsterdam being primarily a bit pervy then we should not see anyone protesting. I will check up on here to see if anyone reviews it differently.

As for finding the things you are supposed to its a five minute book to take in the idea of the game, it could be a lot longer to find everything and everyone suggested. I found Bin Laden very quickly once I'd got passed the disguises and can now travel the world in the hope of a substantial reward from the CIA???

2.0 out of 5 stars Something went wrong with this, 9 Jan. 2007
Sadly I have never got into this. The single player was frustrating and dull, the multiplayer never let me in because every EA game I get I have to register with yet another name as my previous one can't be re-used. I now play Call of Duty, which more than anything is very simple unless you're clan fodder.

5.0 out of 5 stars Got a PS2 GET THIS!!!, 9 Jan. 2007
I love games that are fun and simple. This had us all in fits of laughter, I am 36, and have 4 kids aged 10,8,6&6. Even my mum can play it and win. DON'T FORGET YOU NEED TO BUY BUZZ GAMES WITH A SET OF BUZZERS if you haven't got some already!

Basically there are 40 different games which you can play randomly or programme in. Some are simply luck some and some take a little skill. Here are my favourites:

Monkey slide

All monkeys slide in a line down a tree branch collecting fruit. When you have enough jump to the back for someone else to take the lead. If you wait there too long you'll come to a branch in your way which would make your eyes water.

Gorilla Bath

The monkeys sit in a bath with a Gorilla, the Gorilla doesn't like bubbles in his bath. Press the buzzer for your monkey to make the bubbles while he sleeps. If he wakes up and catches you then you're in trouble.

Freefall

Monkeys free fall from a cliff with parachutes and one anvil. Hold onto the anvil to gain points and then throw it to another monkey. If you've still got the anvil when the parachutes are opened then it isn't going to help your landing.

BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT. Much better than all the other Buzz games.

Then go buy Guitar Hero 2 and Singstar.
