The Lie

5.0 out of 5 stars Well worth a read, 28 Jun. 2015

This review is from: The Lie (Kindle Edition)
An excellent read, enough twists and turns to make it one of those books you cant put down. Too much info will spoil the book - but if you liked The Beach, then this has hints of it, but more indepth look at friendships and betrayal. Much better than her first novel

Coming Home For Christmas
Coming Home For Christmas

1.0 out of 5 stars Nothing to recommend it really from my point of view, 16 Jan. 2015

Only a loose Christmas theme. Story is not particularly plausible and characters are not very real. Nothing to recommend it really from my point of view.

One of the best albums by far for the year. So many great tracks, could listen to over and over again. I was not a huge take that fan, and to be honest, Gary Barlow isn't my usual music taste. I bought it for my daughter. But this is a solid album, well worth buying

Hollywood Wives
Hollywood Wives
Price: £3.99

3.0 out of 5 stars dated, 30 May 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Hollywood Wives (Kindle Edition)
I read this years ago, thought it was a good read. Just re read it, and it seems dated and poor comparison to other 'sun lounger' reads. Worth reading just to see how things have changed in the passage of time. A nail bar was an exclusive venue for the rich Hollywood wives.

But, really, not worth the money Amazon are charging for it.

This is aimed at teenagers I guess. However, my teenage daughter would think this was aimed at a younger audience. however, the content means its not suitable for younger audience.
It is poorly written, glosses over the important issue it purports to tackle and reads like its been written by an angst ridden teenager.

Even for free its not a good deal.

there are so many really good books for teens that cover really important subjects, don't waste your time on this one.

KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON PERSONALISED WITH ANY TEXT GIFT MUG CUP RETRO
Offered by DOBOPRODUCTS
Price: £5.20

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing product, 2 Jan. 2014

What can I say...we were looking for a cheap gift, didn't want to spend loads on a designer mug, thought this might fit the bill. Well, it certainly was cheap, but the quality rivalled anything we saw in the posh card shops, or department stores. Super fast delivery, excellent packaging and communications with the supplier were dead simple.

10 out of 10!

Cant believe I hadn't read this before. A good tale, a little quick to finish and tie up loose ends, but a good read

2.0 out of 5 stars A poor mans Sophie Kinsella, 12 Oct. 2013

if you like chick lit, sassy female characters and pages that make you smile, laugh out loud and stifle a tear...... read something else. Do not get sucked in by the blurb. this book felt soooo long, not a problem I have ever had with quality writers.
Sorry, but just being honest. Main characters are not believable, and the way situations are 'set up' are just ridiculous. Less pages, more plot planning needed. Don't bother.
