1.0 out of 5 stars The enemy within, 9 Jan. 2011
The only complaint I have about Guantanamo Bay is that Clive Stafford-Smith is not a resident there himself for unleashing this drivel on the world. Strictly for tedious left wing terrorist loving Guardian readers only.

1.0 out of 5 stars Awful!, 1 Jan. 2011
Why this tedious moronic rant from a talentless writer was ever published is a mystery. He is obviously envious of any sporting achiever as judging by his photo he looks like he rarely leaves the sofa. The point is who cares what he thinks? This was given to me by my brother in law for christmas. We don't care for each other but I thought subjecting me to this dire trash was going too far. A pure waste of good paper.

1.0 out of 5 stars Comedy Hell, 13 Nov. 2010
Words can barely describe the horror of this feeble offering. The scripts are lame and feeble, like watching Two pints of lager and a packet of crisps without the jokes.
Buy the original and pretend this disaster doesn't exist.

1.0 out of 5 stars Abysmal, 28 Oct. 2009
From start to finish, this is just an embarrassing mess of a film. I cringed to watch the great De Niro looking about as scary as the monster from Carry On Screaming. It has no atmosphere, Branagh is just annoying, as is Bonham Carter. Stick to the Karloff original and you can't go wrong. This is about as frightenng as an episode of The Tweenies!

1.0 out of 5 stars Mind bogglingly hideous!, 4 Sept. 2009
This show thinks it's clever. It's not. It is incredibly irritating, trite drivel. Even my 2 year old is thoroughly bored with it. It is on twice a day on Cbeebies, which is more than enough
for anyone so quite why you would buy this is a complete mystery. I only feel sorry for poor old Derek Jacobi who after years of reciting Shakespeare is reduced to this gibberish dross.

5.0 out of 5 stars Don't listen to these idiotic reviews!, 10 Jun. 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I have just bought this DVD and it's perfect. The picture is very good, the ratio is fine and as intended.
I think it is safe to say that you can ignore most reviews that bleat on about aspect ratios as though the reviewer knows what he's talking about. He normally doesn't. Buy it it's fine and for this price a fabulous bargain.

5.0 out of 5 stars When tellly were great!, 19 Mar. 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Jack Rosenthal At ITV [DVD] (DVD)
A fantastic box set with some marvellous plays written by the greatly missed Jack Rosenthal. Worth the money alone for 'Another Sunday Another Sweet FA' about a sunday league football referee. A must for collectors of vintage British telly before it went rotten.

1.0 out of 5 stars Boring Twaddle, 3 Mar. 2009
Jeremy Hardy is a nasty little man whose 'comedy' consists of dull boring leftie old rants.
Thoroughly unpleasant material by a thoroughly unpleasant man. For socialist nerds only.

1.0 out of 5 stars An awful insult to Bond fans., 18 Feb. 2009
A quite awful film with no redeeming features whatsoever. The script, plot and music are all forth rate. It really is an insult to the great Bond films that have gone before. What is really appalling is the laughable standard of the special effects. I've seen more realistic effects on Thunderbirds! It insults the viewer and the producers should be ashamed of themselves. Buy Goldfinger instead and see how it should be done.
