5.0 out of 5 stars It's Hendrix!, 11 Mar. 2013
A lot of people will complain about this album. "None of it is really new!". Yes, that is true. But, he is dead. And has been for 40 years. Quite how people expect new material from an artist that died 4 decades ago is beyond my understanding.

The truth is, some of these songs are amazing. Some are unfinished, and others are just strange - particularly the tracks with the guest vocals.

But, they are all Jimi. He was, and still is, hands down the most 'vocal' guitar player ever, and the finished studio masterpieces and the 'nearly there' demo style tracks all have one thing in common - Jimi plays his heart out. Sometimes it's masterful, sometimes it rough and raw, but man, 40 years have not detracted from the sheer passion that Hendrix poured into literally every note.

New to Hendrix? Try Electric Ladyland instead.

For everyone else, this is a great purchase and fascinating collection of songs from the greatest guitar player who ever lived.

4.0 out of 5 stars I am WAR!, 10 Sept. 2011
Storming single player campaign, great combination of hack and slash action, and shooting elements. Much faster action than Gears and similar games (no ducking and waiting for NPCs to pop out of their cover) just charge in and let rip!

Perhaps not the most original game, but who cares? It is well managed, intuitive controls, nice selection of weapons and tactics, decent story, solid graphics and execution moves.

Treat yourself!
