5.0 out of 5 stars One of the finest books on Quantum Field Theory., 13 Mar. 2015

Zee has written an outstanding book on an introduction to QFT. This book along with Peskin and Schroeder's offers the highest standard of textbooks for the subject, and Zee's version is much less dry. A "bible" on the topic if there ever was one.

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent piece of Historical Fiction, 20 May 2014

The Iron King is a worthy start to Druon's epic Accursed Kings series. A gripping story of the nature of politics, violence, and sex in the 1300's. Duron reflects on the history of France, and in particular, Paris, a city that he saw fall to Nazi occupation. Duron examines the cultural mindset behind torture, superstition, crusade, banking, and religion in a time with vast cultural difference to our own. An excellent novel.

I'd like to add a complaint against other reviewers on Amazon, who've used the fact that it isn't like the Game of Thrones series as a complaint against it. It isn't this books fault that you thought it was going to be high fantasy, you shouldn't penalise this series because Mr George RR Martin miss-communicated with you.

4.0 out of 5 stars An excellent collection of work., 1 Dec. 2013

This review is from: Dangerous Women (Kindle Edition)
This surprised me as an excellent anthology. It's a collection varying in scale. From the first story, Joe Ambercrombie's "Some Desperado", set in a tiny village. To the final story, George rr Martin's "The Princess and the Queen", covering the entire of his fictional kingdom Westeros, the variety of excellent work to sample here should be acknowledged.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not as bad as people say., 5 Jun. 2012
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Diablo III (PC/Mac DVD) (DVD-ROM)
A lot of other reviews here are complaining about server issues, these only really afected things for the opening week, which is now past. Yes the game has problems, but it's still good, but not great. In the years running up to this game being released people had high expectations, and Diablo 3 didn't reach them. I believe these people are the same people rating this with 1 or 2 stars.

It is annoying that you have to be online for single player, and the game's combat can be very repetitive, and the game's characters are not interesting and cliche. However this game is still fun, and approachable to people who didn't play Diablo or Diablo 2.
So, flawed but ultimately still good.
