Peter Pan's First xl, 27 Nov. 2010
For anyone interested in late Victorian / Edwardian literature this is a facinating account which shows links between fun and games, in the form of cricket, and so many noted authors, A.A Milne, Conan Doyle, P.G.Wodehouse, Jerome K.Jerome, E.V.Lucas, Denis Mackail, and E.W.Hornung, the creator Raffles to name a few. All these are seen against the events and politics of the time. Baden-Powel for instance, very much a man of the moment, was apparently facinated by Peter Pan.
