A poetic thriller? A thrilling love story? Eytan Fox's film moves from the Holy Land to the purlieus of Berlin as Eyal, a Mossad man, pursues a Nazi war criminal, meanwhile becoming involved in an 'eternal triangle.'
Subtly scripted, beautifully photographed, with fine performances from Lior Ashkenazi, Knut Berger and Caroline Peters - even a song on the soundtrack from Ms Ofarim - whether the triangle becomes right-angle, obtuse or equilateral would be difficult to say: a pleasurably enigmatic ending.
