This review is from: iPad Mini For Dummies (Paperback)
I thought when i bought the ipad mini that I would be able to manage its usage having had another tablet of a different make, but not so. I looked at the available books which didn't show enough so I bought unseen the Dummies guide and found it to answer almost all my queries. It shows so much more than the on line guide supplied in Sahara and gives tips of stuff I would never have found. The language is easily understood and doesn't presume you know loads of stuff.
All in all a great buy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great stuff, 23 April 2012

I only bought this for the wife to stop her borrowing my Viewpad 7 but I must say this is as good as the Viewpad at a fraction of the cost! Much lighter and thinner and does almost as much. Only thing really lacking is the mobile phone and the second camera. The second camera could do with being included as its difficult to take a picture when you can't see the screen.
Easy to set up but as others have said the manual is a bit of a joke but its not difficult to work things out. She was just going to use it for games but now uses the e reader and lots more Android apps. Battery life acceptable. All in all a really good buy which I would recommend.
